How to tell my Grandson That I dress

hello all
I did a search for this type of thread but did not find anything.
what is a good way for me to tell my 7 year old grandson that I am a Crossdresser? I have to tell him because he and my daughter are going to be moving in with us for a few months, and I am involved with a bunch of stuff to where I dress at home and then go out. so I have to tell him but I just don't know how to tell him. I told his mother about me when she was a little girl, she was about 12 when I told her. so she had a better understanding of it, so it was easier for me to tell her.

Wouldn't it be best to talk to his mother about that ?
I think the both of you should make a plan, the more when she already knows, knows how it effected her in a similar age, and because she knows her son best.
