Recently I invited your support and I was generously gifted with the support of community and friends!

To all of you who thought about me, or sent me your love, emailed, called, or showed up:

BLESS YOU ! YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE in my quest to Realize a Dream !

My night was a HUGE SUCCESS !

The attending public was Entertained.
Friends gathered to support me and share Company for a great Show.
There were many moments of laughter, amazement, and poignant gratitude throughout the evening and following morning's wee hours.

Here's my account:
I DID IT!!!

I settled on a concept, edited the words and music (from Tom Jones Album and YouTube edits), bought a clothing, material, velcro etc, dreamed up the choreography and I Did It !

I performed my Debug Drag Queen Act !

My act was a portrayal of Mrs. Slocombe of "Are You Being Served", cutting together some of her risque one-liner's about her pussycat with "What's New PussyCat ?!" by Tom Jones. BIG LOVE for Tom Jones and Mollie Sugden !!!!

I got nervous about remembering the lines...but remember, and parahprase what Anna Conda (the Den Mother and Kitty Shepherd of Club CharlieHorse) told me: "Everyone wants to see you do well, they are on your side, so don't worry about being perfect." She helped me relax as I made those words my mantra on the way to the stage.

I did it with Club CharlieHorse (tribes.tribe.net/charliehorse) at the Cinch Saloon in San Francisco last Friday.

Friends showed up (John, Tom, Freddie, Miranda, Sylvia, Carly, everyone: I Love You All !) and the Resident Queens all supported me generously in the dressing room and onstage (Thanks to Anna Conda, Miss Nix, Frieda Lay, Juanita Fajita, Nicoleomytoe, Jordan Van Dyke....). Dozens of friends sent me their well-wishes and I was truly NEVER ALONE in this adventure. XOXOXOXOX.... ad infinitum To ALL !

The crowd was entertained and showered me with money (a dollar here, a dollar there, it all adds up Honies!) and generous applause, and I did not fall off of the stage !

I hung out with my CrossDressing Friends and Special Supporter John, from the King Of Clubs Sunday Night crowd, and enjoyed the glow and friendship beyond the wee hours of the morning.

I realized a dream, and it was a dream as I realized it. It is now and forever the sweetest of memories.

Wow!

There's a few pix on my vanity website: robertafermina.home.netcom.com (go to Drag Queen Debut on the menu). I have a SNAFU with Earthlink right now. Once they fix it, I'll get more pix up there !

Friends! I have more dreams, and you may have a few --- Don't just Dream It, Be It !.....I Believe.

with BIG LOVE and Gratitude,

Roberta Fermina

I'm happy to know that things were a success Roberta. The main thing is you enjoyed being yourself and having fun. Having performed a couple of times in the past myself, I know the satisfaction you get when you are up there. It's thrilling to say the least. I Hope you will have many more good times doing the things you love Hon.:hugs::happy:

Wasn't Mrs. Slocombe's pussy named "Tiddles?"
I wish I could have been there, you got the hair color perfect (any color not found in nature.)

Congratulations on having a good evening.

Bummer. I won't be in San Francisco until next week, so I guess I missed it...
