Mistaken Identity

My wife and I went out to eat tonight. When the waitress arrived, from behind me, she said "Hi ladies!". She quickly corrected herself and went on from there. I was TOTALLY in drab.

My wife thinks I grew my hair out for the last 6 months to show off at my 30 year high school reunion. She does NOT know how I almost cried when the waitress acknowledged my long locks looked feminine.

What an affirmation!

Happens to me all the time. Sometimes the waitress still calls me in the fem pronoun after my wife has told her, "He's my husband." :tongueout
