When do you put on your wig?

Assuming you wear one, do you do all your make-up and dressing leaving the wig for last or do as I do and put it on before I start. I feel GG's have their hair on full time so I feel more femme having to deal with my hair through the whole process.

I put my wig on last. This way I can put foundation on my forehead, up to my natural hairline. Thus, I don't get any makeup on my wig.

I have tried doing it with my wig on, but prefer to do it without. I like having a nice clear view of what I am doing. I do put my bra and forms on before make-up, but the wig is always last.

I would like the feeling of putting on makeup with my wig on but it just isn't practical. A GG typically uses less foundation and can just wash the hair a little if it gets makeup on it. Maybe someday I'll use an old wig as my "makeup wig".

I have never owned a wig at all.

My natural hair is shoulder-length. Sometimes I have to move it out of the way when applying makeup.

A lot of gg's tie it up away form their face. Or wear a headband.

OK i don't have a wig .... just my own hair 3/4 of the way down my back .... i love it .... that more femme feeling oh i get it like when it's in my eyes ..... or in my mouth .... or getting messed up in my foundation ..... or stuck on my lipstick ????? ....

long hair is way cool i do love it .... at times it's a huge pain in the butt .... and more than once i thought abought cutting it off on one of those in my way pain in the butt hair days..... but i keep it lol some days it's all the femme feeling ans some days it's any thing other than femme..........

Its amazing when your in front of a mirror with your makeup on and the clothes you are going to wear and then you put your wig on and(Then all of a sudden WALA!!)you have just completed the transition and you look GREAT!

I think if GG's could take their hair off to do their Make-up, they would because it just gets in the way, alot of GG's are going for shorter hair, hate that, love long hair, I wait till the last thing to do.

I put on foundation and powder, then a wig, then do my eyes and blush. Sometimes I will use hair clips or pull it into a ponytail while finishing. Oh yea,, I pick out my earrings just after putting on the wig.
Years ago I kept my hair pretty long and enjoyed fixing it in fem styles, often used highlite kits got perms etc,, but old age & mother nature have been very mean to my hairline or lack of,,,,,,

I usually put it on last. You have to admit, though, that we have one advantage over GG's';When you have a pullover top and do not want to muss your hair, you can just take it off. :D

It's usually last but when I have to dress in the car because I cannot fully dress in the hotel, I'm in that uncomfortable half on half off stage. Once the foundation is on, the wig goes on and then the lipstick. Now I'm in enough girl mode and can do my eyes, etc. without looking like a guy putting on make-up in the car.
