Do you shave under arm?

Hi Girls.

I like many other girls here I first became interested in dressing around 5 or 6, but it was not until my mid twenties before I started dressing fully. During these 25 years or so I have sometimes shaved my legs and body and other times I have let my body hair grow. But at all times I have shaved under my arms.

I was wondering how many of you girls shave under your arms even if you do not shave your legs or body?

I shave my legs, stomach, chest, and underarms. (I've been crossdressing only for a couple of years, and started shaving regularly only during the last few months.) I don't shave my underarms nearly as often as the other parts of my body, however, but that's partly because the hair there doesn't seem to grow as quickly. But with the arrival of spring and warmer weather--and sleeveless tops and spaghetti-strap camisoles--I'll be much more thorough! :cool:

Oh absolutly shave under arms. And the rest of me also. 100% from neck down including arms. Been smooth for about 4 years now, used to do just under arms , and genitals and legs only during the winter, But I got tired of not being my self. I dont think I ever will have any body hair again. Im even thinking of getting permanent removal.

I've never done it, but often thought about it. It just seems like the irritation would be unbearable, seeing as how much trouble my legs give me.

I hate body hair so am always shaved (not that i have a lot) evn when i wear t shirts and people comment i just say i hate body hair and they never comment ...body hair yuck!!!!!

Yep, keep them shaved. I use the Aveeno Postively Smooth Moisturizer afterwards also, so I don't have to shave there everyday. I swim at the gym most every morning, so I don't like the unclean look from not shaving.

my arms and under my arms are the only place yet to shave. I did use a bikini trimmer under my arms, but on the highest setting just to shape a little. I am afraid :( that the irritation would be awful, that is the only reason I havent done it already. I just started shaving my legs in the last couple of weeks and it is wondeful ;) , so it won't be long till I shave these two spots I am sure!

If you're that hairy use and electric razor or hedge shears!!!

So aloe vera lotion helps to smooth the skin afterward. (I know there more expensive stuff but if you're doing the top to bottom thingy why waste the money?) Aloe Vera works fine and is good for the skin.

If time is a problem. And it can be. Grab a bottle of NAIR hair remover and go to town with it. (Not on the face or near the eyes.) You'll end up very smooth front and back. and most NAIR products already have lotion in them.

Disposible razors work great to. But be carefull not to nick yourself !

STRAIGHT RAZOR? Don't even think about it! Unless you enjoy a trip to the emergencey room to have certain parts re-attached !

Thanks for the advice, donnie :). Though sadly I think I won't be able to do anything in that direction for the forseeable future. I'm not out, and people know me for being hairy, so it would be noticeable if I got rid of it all. :(

So tell your friends you like to swim or bike. Many men shave their hair off for sports.
You don't have to tell them you do it because you like the way it feels.

The desire must be there. Otherwise, why ask the question in the first place ?
Stop being worried about what other people think. And be yourself.
You don't have to shave everywhere all the time.

yep! I shave um and I love it. It's no trouble at all for me, but I will probley have to grow it out as summer gets closer yuk!

I use veet hair removal cream. Apply it with the fingers, leave it for 8-10 minutes, Then wipe it off in the shower. It works wonders. No razor rash & no worry of nicking yourself with the razor. It even seems to soften the hair that grow back.
I also use veet mouse on my chest and bikini line which has helped to prevent ingrown hairs.
The stuff litterly dissolves the hair and I've had no bad experiences with.

I agree with the cream after or it can get sore when you do it all the time. I remember long ago when I did it all the time mine got sore until I used a good cream afterwards. Once it went very red for almost two hours after we had finished, but the good cream and just slowing down a little made it easer and thankfully it never went red or sore again. So my advice would be to keep using the good cream, but slow down a little also.

I also found that when I slowed down, my wife enjoyed it better as well, so good result all around.



But we are talking about shaving under your arms, you naughty Stevie you. LOL :D

Yes I shave from the neck down including under the arms. I think it just looks and feels back that way when I dress up especially wearing stockings etc! :D

I've done laser depilation under the arms (and of course for beard too :) ) So now I shave once (winter) or twice (summer) a month and it's enough.

Okay, not too fond of waxing, but since I don't have very thick body hair it's not really a problem. I only have to shave my face about once a week and the rest of my body is maybe twice monthly. Ever since the first time I shaved my armpits and noticed a drastic difference not only in feel but in 'smell', ugh, as well I can't go without shaving them.

I've been shaving my armpits for 20+ years. Deodorant burns my skin, and I read advice from either Dear Abby or Ann, don't remember for sure, that shaving would help. It did, and I've shaved ever since.

I started shaving my legs, chest and under my arms about a year ago. During the summer I stoped shaving my chest completely just a bit on the top and stoped shaving my legs, I continue to shave under my arms. It just feels and looks right. I would not stop shving there and will begin shaving my legs again this fall when I wouldn,t wear shorts. Once I started shaving I never wanted to go back. I looks and feels the way I want to feel. realy the hair is not attractive. Does any one else feel that way? :confused:

I might have been exegerating a bit, but often enough. I find waxing while the growths are still very fine a little bit less painful and hence leaving less brusies on the skin.

Actually, I look at it a different way, I am very hairy and unfortunately am in a situation where I can't shave it all. However I do shave under my arms, figured I needed to start somewhere.
