spotted this letter to an agony aunt a while back , kind of puts it all in perspective

Yes, I too saw this a few months ago. I laughed till I cried. I took it to my therapist and she laughed until she cried, then I took it to my electrologist and she laughed until she cried. Too much, hon. I loved it!

I never heard the expression "Agony Aunt" before. Here in the US we call them all "Dear Abby". I thought Agony Aunt must be a misprint at first, but it is wonderfully descriptive.
