For my tastes, sheer to waist pantyhose are my favorite style. They are much more sensual than the control type in appearance as they reveal the middle torso from your stomach to the pubic area.

I voted “other brand” so I will specify. Since I wear pantyhose everyday even when I am in DRAB, to me they are part of my everyday clothing. So like GG’s I tend to wear the type of pantyhose, which is right for the time of day or the outfit.

So most days when I am just doing normal things I will wear the cheaper everyday pantyhose. These are 15 denier tan with reinforced toe and panty. For these they can be any brand at the moment I have my local supermarket brand where you get three pairs in a box for £5.00. During the winter months I wear the same type in the day, but dark colours like black or nearly black.

When I am dressing or going out even in DRAB I wear a brand name such as Aristoc Ultra Shine sheer to waist 10 denier, or Pretty Polly 15 denier sheer gloss which are sheer to waist.

I just love pantyhose and have worn most types at one time or another.

There are higher quality ones I don't remember the names of, so I selected Haines also. I too prefer the Haines Silk Reflections when buying the common ones available.

I seldom wear panytyhose and prefer microfiber tights for the warmth, however, clothing sliding around the Silk Reflections is a sexy feel.

The only attire I want pantyhose for would be something like a vintage Playboy Bunny outfit. The sheer black is to die for, but everthing I ever find has reinforcement that is seen. I would like to find some pantyhose that do not have that ugly reinforcement in the crotch.

I've tried many brands of thigh high stockings. Oroblu makes the very silkiest I have ever worn. I get them from Figleaves.com. They aren't cheap though. This link should bring you directly to the ones that I buy. They a very sexy lace top that is 5 1/2 inches wide. The "Dor(skin)" color is a nude color that is a little darker than many nude colors but very pretty. They also have a reinforced toe.

I wear Higher state tights that come from the great canadain superstore here in canada. They are a lot more comfortable than regular panty hose and don't run no where as much either in other words they last about 10 times longer then regular pantyhose. i usually wear black blue, and light brown for colors .
a little expensive but well worth spending the money for them.

I've tried so many brands and styles over the years.... I used to wear Leggs years ago. But in the last 10 years or so, I've found that I prefer Hanes Silk Reflections almost exclusively, and prefer thigh-highs over pantyhose by 90% or more. I love the freedom that thigh-highs have from the enclosed crotch of pantyhose. However, lately I've been considering ordering a few pair of Hanes Silk Reflections French-Cut Barely-Black pantyhose, to give my thighs a break from the elastic bands on the thigh-highs.

I bought some off-brand at Wal-Mart last year, and was surprised how smooth they felt, and had amazing resistance to runs & snags. They literally lasted over a month, w/ almost daily wearing. Wish I knew the name.... think the package is around here somewhere - i like to keep packages &/or tags sometimes for my scrapbook.... here the package is - it had been standing up against my pc speaker a few months ago. They were George brand, silky sheer control-top sandalfoot pantyhose, nude. I really enjoyed them.

I usually order the Hanes Silky Reflections sandalfoot thigh-highs, in barely there & barely black. I've found that the barely-black are usually a bit shorter than the barely there - i know it sounds like i'm mental, but really - i'm just below 6' tall, and i've found that color always end up being pulled really tight to get them to my crotch. I've noticed the trend for several years now. I used to prefer the black hose over the barely-there, but i've began to prefer the look and fit of the barely-there these days.

I tend to buy Leggs Active support. I have found support hose give that silky feel that I love. Also, support hose with a regular or control top tend to stay where you put them! Less crotch sag through the day.

I have never heard anything but good about Pretty Polly Pantyhose. They must be wonderful. I have never seen them for sale in the US.

My mom used to wear silkies. I would try them on. The best silkies are the ones with the metallic looking panty section. They were neat and they felt nice.

I have never liked Hanes Silk Reflections. They aren't tall enough, and they feel like cardboard to wear.

I like Oroblu. Some styles have a V panel in the back. That is nice when they are worn backward, but they are an inch or two too short for my 6'3" frame. They were the first hose I ever wore as a guy with shorts in public. They will hold that place in my heart. Nice hose, but just too short.

My favorite pantyhose for everyday wear is the L'eggs Sheer energy, the Jet Black and the Suntan. I bought the Q+ and had no trouble getting these pantyhose up my legs. I also like to go to www.mytights.com. They have many different makes of pantyhose that are tailored for extra small to extra tall. I like WoMan. this is a Unisex type of pantyhose. They fit up to 6'7".
I also like the Peavey pantyhose that the Hooters Girls wear. Yes, they have their own brand of pantyhose. These pantyhose can be found at www.hotlegsusa.com.

Here in Australia, I buy the 'razzamatazz' brand and the style i buy are called 'silky support'. They are high quality and have 19% elastane for a smooth and flexible fit.

They are very comfortable to wear (especially all day), are durable (don't run easily) and come in a large range of colours.

They are by far the best pantyhose I have tried and basically its all i wear unless i need something particular to suit a special outfit / purpose.

I prefer Wolford Individual 10's (Neiman Marcus has some on clearance right now for $15 or so, regularly $40). I loved the VS Signature Gold pantyhose...too bad they're almost impossible to find now.

But honestly, I prefer being a stocking gal. I only wear stockings with 6 or 8 strap garter belts with metal straps (unless on the rare occasion I'm traveling by plane, when I wear plastic straps because I don't want to set off the metal detector!).
