The San Antonio Sunday paper had a good and fair article on transgendered people. The gist is we are sane, entitled to respect, and the current generation expects the same rights as the other two genders.
Both lay and medical folks commented that there is a very real population who thinks they are in the wrong bodies. A female to male transgendered person was interviewed and quoted.
I, for one was pleased and surprised to see this article in this paper.

Any chance that you could share the article with us non-San Antonian's?

San Antonio is not the only place where t-people have fair treatment the Northwest is fairly friendly place also. Seasttle may be the friendliest of all, with Portland second.
