Dee and I have talked about threads where some CD's with grown children have been met with, "Dad, we always knew!" when they finally broach the subject.

Our kids keep saying and doing things that give us pause to think we haven't been as careful as we mean to be. Hippy Chic's thread about his daughter giving him a make-over (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65030) and Randi's thread about his daughter thinking he would make a good "sporty girl" (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65306). Had us in stiches.

We had such a belly laugh today when the kids snooped into the little suitcase that I hid the wig in after our photo shoot yesterday.

They thought they had "found" a new dress-up toy.

It led to them putting the wig on dad (http://barbaratalbot.blogspot.com/2007/08/wigging-out.html), The 8 year-old boy wanting to wear it and a dress. I led to them relating (and we now remember) that the two older sisters used to dress up the younger brother en femme during playtime 2-3 years ago. I wasn't thinking CD context then, but I did think back to my childhood and did like Dee's leave them be its just play and normal and healthy attitude. By way of background the 10 year olds reaction to this dressup day is better understood by reading the thread (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64087) I started in FTM about my children's gender expressions through clothing choices. She didnt attempt to shame him at all about his choice for dress-up fun, just pointed out that she isn't into girly clothes and insisted he realize he is NOT like her when he dresses since she doesnt.

I'd love to hear other peoples funny stories with their kids explorations or near discoveries or like this a little of both.

Out of the mouths of babes....one of my friends' child hops into my lap and plays with my boobs talking about them as if they were her mommies! I'm totally flattered! And it's as if she and I can see something the rest of the world doesn't.
