I think that they are talking about an epilator, which is like an electric razer. However, instead of cutting the hairs, it pinches them and pulls them out. There are or have been several recent posts on their use and level of successes. Do a search.

They sell them at Fry's electronics, probably KMart, Walmart, Sears and some bigger drugs stores. One is made by Braun for the US market. Do a Goggle search on epilators and you will probably find several locations that sell them. Read the posts here though, because some are better than others, at least by what was posted here. Good luck.

You can also get them at many of the major department stores as well as on-line (see Norelco) and yes. they may hurt a little when you first use them - after all the hair is thicker and has never been plucked before but regrowth is lighter and easier to remove.
The effect is fantastic. Your skin is smooth and totally hairless if done right. And it lasts for quite a while. Use it long enough and hair regrowth is very light and touch ups can be done with a razor. Love it. Woyuldn't be without one.

on the recommendation of a girl here I chat with (yes Dawn), I decided to get one..the pain wasn't too bad, and the hairs are slow to return..I'd say get one......after shaving everyday for years its great to not have to worry about it, and I do hope the regrowth is more sparse and easier to pluck!!!!
