When I woke up this morning, I started to get ready for the day, and picked up a pair of pants to to put on for the day, and thats when it hit me, I dont want wear pants today, so I put the pants away and went to the closet and picked out a dress and put that on instead. I put on makup, a wig, nylons and my 1 inch heels. I then went out to do my business for the day, went to the insurance office, the owner was not there at the time, but his secretary was, she was very surprised, when I came in the door, she was very supportive about what I was wearing, she thought that I looked good dressed like a woman, and did not see anything wrong with me wearing a dress. anyway I sat in the office for an hour and 10 minutes talking to her about everything we usually talk about, then I left to do other things, about a minute later she sends me a text message telling me that her boss just arrived at the office. I texted her back telling her that I wanted to come back to the office to also come out about my dressing to her boss who happens to be a good friend of mine, but she text me back telling me that it was not a good time to do that because he was in a bad mood. So I took her advice and did not come back. she did tell me that she would let me know when it was a good time to do that. She is a wonderful friend. and now she wants to introduce me to her sister while I am wearing a dress, she wants me to date her sister, she reassured me that her sister would not object to me wearing dresses, so I am going for it. I came out to a few other peaple today, all went well, they told me that I need to do what makes me happy, I even came out to my high school buddy, he was shocked at first, then asked why I wanted to wear dresses, I told him why, we discussed it for about an hour, then he told me that he still wants to be my friend, and he see's no problem with it, then he asked if I would go to dinner and a movie friday night with him, and he wants me to go as Vivian, I told him that I dont date guys, and that I only liked women. His response was I dont date guys either, but he would still like go as 2 friends, he says that he wont do anything to make me feel uncomfortable, I told him I would think about it. any way this is how my day went.

Well, as long as you've stipulated the ground rules, it's two buddies going out. What difference does it make how they are dressed?

Why not go you? As long as there are ground rules I don't see how it could be a bad thing? Sounds like fun to me.

Hmm, maybe he'll open doors for you, giggle, could be fun. Anyway, think of him as your escort, a friend, a companion.

With the ground rules that you have set in place it will give you the chance to go out dressed and enjoy being a woman, sounds like the thing to do

I went to dinner (a very long story) with my Mother-in-law and three sisters-in Law after we had been married for 3 or 4 years and it took me 30 more years of marriage and my wife and her quilting friends tormenting me unmercifully for a long time to go to the mall and to a movie with them before I got up the nerve to go anywhere in a dress. The three of them finially decided that we were going to have a makeover and movie night, and ever since it has been great.
I'm sure there are men in town that know about me, but I don't associate with any of them. I too, do not like men.

Hi Vivian. Oh my, your head must be spinning, and yet you sound so calm and relaxed! That's really wonderful. Wonderful that it was all so comfortable for you and that it all felt so good. Do let us know how dinner and the movie go, ok? Sonia

Wow! thanks for the replies and encouragement, I am still thinking about it, I only have 2 days left. I agree cindi ann, he is a true friend, we have been friends since junior high school. We had alot of fun growing up, we were quite the pranksters at school and aroud town. We were into electronics when we were in high school, and we sure pulled some funny pranks useing electronic devices. I loved your story Krystenw, that must have been fun to go out with your mother in law and your sisters in law while enfemme, You will have fun when you go out with the women again. BTW, the secretary from the insurance office called me tonight and told me that she wants to get together with her female cousins and her sister and a couple of her friends and me as Vivian for a girls night out next week, I cant wait, I am looking sssooo forward to that day. anyway I will keep you all posted:love:

I did not go out with my friend last night, I could not get my makeup to look right, and I just could not go out, any way my friend still came over, and I made dinner instead of going out, it turned out very nice, and then we sat and talked about everything from transgenderism to politics to electroncs/computers, to ex wives. When we were talking about ex wife stuff, he made a comment, you went from having a wife to looking like a wife, could not help from laughing at that one. We had a good time last night, nothing inapropriate happened, He was a true gentleman.
