hi girls, just went to a nail salon and had my nails done for the very first time so im sharing some picks with you. there acrylic tips done with a french tip with a star shooting :D

Your nails look very nice! GG's have this inate ability to critiqie another GG in a split second and one of the first items is the hands. "We" tend to have larger hands than most GG's so it has been recommended that we call as little attention to them as necessary. I, like a lot of my sisters, agree, up to a point, but I love nail polish and rings. One recommendation you may want to consider next time - get a more pointed nail instead of the "blunt" style as the pointed nails will make your fingers look longer and slimmer. Just a suggestion.

dana, they used an air brush and a stencil she did one nail with different patterns untill i found one that i liked xxxx

thanks toni, i foun it to be less expensive this way 30.00 the ones i buy at the store are around 8.00 a pop and they just last a weekend. and it never fails either i get glue stuck to my fingers or one nail as always crooked thanks luv xx

Realistically, you will want to get in there at least every 2 weeks, 3 weeks maximum. Trust me, around the 2 week mark you will be needing repairs :)

BTW, did you check to see the tech's license? If the nail set was below $30, then there is a good chance they are using the banned MMA acrylic, which is pretty bad for your nails. Can I ask, did they hand file or use a drill? These are just good questions to ask before anyone commits to acrylics or other nail enhancements....

dana they used a drill and a powder, i did ask them about infections and they told me not to worry the owner her self did them for me the cost was 30.00 . in the state of maryland there very stringent about heath safty and they do enforce it but this was my first time so any suggestions i would realy appreciate xxx

dana, they did hand file after the nails were set they used a dremmel tool to ruffin my nails to apply the tips

well Fallen angle1 I've used something called Talon nails. they are made in larger sizes for people like us who have such huge hands. (actually they have a large range of sizes to fit all hands) but they work very well for me. At one time I had several sets that I could take off and reinstall. Yeah really, I could take them off when I needed to and then put them back on It took care but it was possible. Try that when with your nails!

i went in drab it was real early in the day about 11:00 its not as bad as you think im use to going out fully dressed so for me it was a little easyer xx
