I think you can tell which I voted for. I still am going through the "hurt so good phase,"
Maybe this is another Lady look vs. ****ty look poll, maybe not.
There is something to be said for comfort. As I compose this I am wearing a pretty scarf dress, I picked up in Bangkok, and it feels wonderful and cool, but dopey me, I am still wearing my 5" heels.:D
I know the GGs in my life dress nice but comfortable. We can at times have both but rare is the case IMO.:D

Put me down for choice #2, sexy but comfortable... I wouldn't know otherwise to be out there for hours at the time and still survive...
Recently I started to wear 4" heels when out and about but I can't walk on them for more than one hour at the time... My feet would hurt so bad that I start limping...and I don't consider limping sexy...
So sexy is my goal, but for all practical purposes it has to be comfortable as well, especially when out in public... If someone has a suggestion on how to cruise the Malls on 5" heels and survive, I'd like to know about it.
:love:Dita.

I would venture to guess you also go for the look more than for comfort....right:D
Always great to hear from you. You are one of my favorites.

Hey Dita, I agree with you limping is not pretty, but these days after all I have read and seen, I am sure some one finds limping sexy.:heehee:
No suggestions on the 5" heels for cruising the mall, I believe that those shoes are reserved for cruising elsewhere:heehee:
For walking I always go with my hush puppies, flat pumps, total comfort, but that is when I know I will be walking on a mission.:D

Hmmm... I guess for me it just depends...
1) Sexy no matter what-- If going out clubbing, etc. or if I really, really want to feel my sexiest!
2) Sexy > Comfortable-- Almost always at home, & definitely for any more casual outings.
3) Sexy < Comfortable-- For sleep or housework
4) Just comfortable-- Never! If it doesn't help me feel at least a little sexy, then I might as well be en-drabbe!
So I voted for #2 on the poll because it covered the highest percentage of my dressing manner. I need more #2-type clothes, but I'm always fawning over :drooling: the #1-types. I luuuuuv it when they are one & the same!!

This is a hard one for me when you got a queen sized body, because I just don't think I look sexy, nice maybe, but I went with the third one down the list.

Hello...it's the balace between impractical stockings and suspenders versus the sheer (sorry!) joy of wearing such sensual clothing; a thong versus sensible - but sexy lacy - panties. There are times that I want to dress in 'everyday' wear and others when practicalities give way to other instincts!
Right now, I'm in tights and pencil skirt (Scully) mode.....

Though choice between sexy first or comfortable first. For me the two do go hand in hand. Sometimes it's sexy for me, and sometimes it's comfort. But I have to admit that sexy is soooo much better!!

Thanks Veronica, could not have said it better myself. I know we are not political here but I would vote for you as my representative.

You are crazy, you are beautiful. You are Sexy no matter what you wear.

I understand, there are times and moods that go into dressing. GGs are very much like you described. I am greedy though, don't want to miss any sexy time:D

When I bother at all it is because of the 'sexy' look. That's what the fun is about isn't it?
However if I had to do it for more than 24 hours I'd probably go for a baggy T-shirt, mousy hair, flat heels, and a big arse.
Oh.....
Well.....you get the idea.

I dress to be comfortable first and sexy second as I believe that the clothes are only a representation of what is within. When you feel sexy inside, it will come out no matter what you are wearing, well, almost.

We all travel an exciting journey nuturing our femine souls. When I shave my legs, I feel sexy. I no longer need to admire them wearing a short mini skirt.
When I have to be a man(work), I dress my age, 54. When I am a woman,
I also dress my age. As I have gotten older, my criteria is that authentic
sense of calm when I am fully dressed. My skirts fall just below my knee, the
pumps may only be 3" buts it me, now. When I was younger and was told
during my Jennifer Beale stage that I was really a cute girl I appreciated it
totally. Now when I'm out in the world and have someone tells me I am a beautiful woman, it feels even better. Utimately being comfortable, in a soulful
way, has made me even more sexy. With respect, it's only this woman's opionion. I'll take comfort, over sexy...with a little red lipstick, and the knowledge I am more than passable, I am my true femine self.

Please allow for an admirers opinion....
Sexy and Comfortable in no way shape or form have to be mutually exclusive. I'm a firm believer that if your clothes are uncomfortable, it's because they're the wrong fit. And only because they're the wrong fit (unless they're selling clothing made out of nails and ground glass now-a-days)
Now, before you go of chiding me along the lines of "it's different for girls", please understand that I used to wear a suit and tie everyday for work for several years.
I always made sure my suits were properly tailored, and my dress shirts were the right size, and I am proud to say that I came home at night looking exactly as I did when I left the house. I.E. my tie was still tied, my top button still buttoned, my shirt still neatly tucked it.
Everyday I saw many a guy exit his building and start yanking the tie off, popping open buttons like he was being strangled, and acting like it was all the clothings fault. Ridiculous!
There's no reason why one cannot look sexy as all get out, and still be comfortable. As I said, if you look sexy, but are uncomfortable, it's because the clothes you squoze into are the wrong size. Buy the identical outfit in your proper size, and viola! You'll be sexy AND comfy.

I chose comfort first & sexy second. When I dress for myself I tend to dress for comfort, and leave the sexy for when I dress for my wife. Even then it will depend on my mood at the time.

I chose Just comfortable, To me its just about being the woman, sexy for me is a feeling i feel inside, for being one, i can feel that when i am in my lay about the house PJ's, or a slinky robe and teddy. I rarely ware heals about the house, tell me a GG that does, I dress to feel that witch i am a part of, womanly. Not to say my clothing is frumpy, they are form fitting and comfortable, they dont make me feel sexy, they do make me feel womanly, feeling sexy comes to me when i feel i am her, and feminine. Same goes for me in guy mode. Masculine, and sexy.

I dress to blend in with the GG's that are in the same places as I am at the time. My only exception is at the beach where I just can go as Paulette. When I dress to go out I do try and dress so that I will look apealing to others who meet me. I was out last week end and gentleman told me that he loved my outfit and chated me up for quite some time. Yes, he was a real gentleman and even kissed my hand when he left.

I chose sexy first then comfort. As I age comfort is becoming more important, though. But it is easy to be comfortable as well as sexy.

I love sexy clothing and the feel of the fabrics. I wear a corset most times out but it is actually not uncomfortable MOST times. The problem I have is with shoes. So far I haven't invested in expensive shoes, but I do like cute shoes. Some of those cute, cheap shoes are very uncomfortable over a long evening out. I still chose the cute over the comfortable for an evening. Day time wear is different. Now if I could just get enough money to buy the cute, comfortable, expensive shoes..........

Sexy is not only the "look", it is a state of mind. Think it, act it, and by golly, you'll feel it too. I, personally, feel sexy in really casual stuff once I fully become Erickka, since I think like her, also.

"I dress and look to be comfortable first and sexy secondly."
Thats most of the time though, it depends what I'm doing, and where/if I'm going somewhere ^_^
Otherwise, Sexy may, or may not, take priority
But I must admit, I like the belly dance style ;) That's Sexy, and it's light weight and comfy! or comfy'ish anyway ^^

Hi, Rita! First, great to see you back!!!
Gosh, I was going to say my answer fell between the cracks, half for comfort and half for sexy. Then I got to thinking that it is all a state of mind -- IOW, what I feel is dressing for comfort might be considered sexy to some and vice versa. I lounge around a lot in mini's (Guess, Aeropostal, and some other brands) made of soft jersey-like cottons. With this I wear a coordinated baby-soft t, and VS PINK collection panties and bra. A pair of mary janes, which I consider sexy under the right conditions, usually goes a long with this. Now, is this dressing to be sexy or to be comfortable?!! I say comfort, but many I know say it is a sexy look -- casual but sexy. Maybe that's it . . . in addition to sexy & comfort, we need to consider casual, semi-casual, and formal. H'mmm -- its late and I am confusing myself ( :lol2: )!!!
:hugs:

My CD-ing is 100% for the look and feel of wearing the clothes, first and foremost. I won't torture myself in the process (although the lace-up waist cincher I bought recently is pushing that boundary a bit) but my CD-ing has never been about comfort.
