For all of you who like to drive yourselves crazy over putting cd/transgender issues into perspective from time to time, such as myself, I suggest some reading a little Hermann Hesse. I had this crazy analogy come into my head regarding the character of Hesse's Steppenwolf character, Harry Haller, who struggles with his inner animal needs (sex, aggression, sensual passion, etc.)
against his human civil needs. The analogy: So here we are, perhaps struggling on different levels, with our transgender selves. Hesse's character, Pablo, points out to Harry that every individual consists of multiple selves and if they are not accepted and in harmony, we may wind up disturbed and frustrated. I think we can maybe learn a little from Hesse from this novel. I've really come to think greyscale is the way to go so as to not drive yourself crazy. As Bruce Lee says in "Ente the Dragon," - "Don't think ... feel, or else you'll miss all that heavenly glory." Cheri-A girl of the Steppes.
