i know its a ways off, but i have started thinking about halloween this year beacuse it is the only tim it is acceptable for me to go out so my question is this, should i wear my thigh highs with a cheer uniform. One of my friends said no because it isnt politically correct. What are all ur opinions

The only thing that really goes with a cheerleader uniform are bright red shiny p.v.c. thigh high boots with a 6 inch heel and cross laces going all the way up the front and with metal tags accentuating the slight dom style.

Don't know what's politically correct ini the US of A, but I thought Halloween was a time when anything (and I mean ANYTHING) goes, so go for it. Wear the boots!

Wish we had the same Halloween custom of crossdressing in the UK, don't you Julie? I'd wear boots just like you described....Yummmmmy! But only after my foot has healed up! (see "I've had the operation")

Hummmmmm, a dom cheerleader. Instead of pom-poms, a couple cat-o-nine tails. Just think of the possibilities!

I once went to work in drag on Halloween. I got a female coworker to suggest that we both bend genders for a gag. She had a mustache and I had a polka dotted mini, thigh highs, combat boots and a ****ty little halter top. It was a riot (on the outside... on the inside it was a 7 course gourmet meal on the company card)

Dear Sister,
:) I love the idea of cheerleader uniform as costume. Definitely wear your thigh-highs. I hope they have the lacy tops. Black or white would be great as a colour. I hope you wear very frilly panties with lots of lace (maybe pink or lilac in colour) underneath. Let your skirt flip up occasionally exposing your delightful panties. WOW what a tease! :D

A politically correct Halloween is almost an oxymoron. It's impossible to be politically correct. I once went as an adult baby girl and spent half the time scheduling appointments to be changed and the other half trying to explain where I got my costume. As it happens my boss (Mr. Conservative) came as a woman of all things so I elected him to be mom. Anyway, you have simply got to go with the frills and definitely those boots. Remember what FDR once said: "It's the frills that make the thrills." OK, that may have been someone else who said that but go with the boots.

Jenny, you have the other option of going with the heavy tan dance tights the cheerleaders and such often wear. Maybe not as sexy as the thigh-highs, but more authentic, if you need the excuse to wear pantyhose.

i did the school girl thing last year and totally went all out with everything girly right down to my sexy toerings and cherry red toenails, but i was still percieved as a boy. anyway...i have often thought of dressing as something with a mask and then just wearing like a pari of capris and flip flops and painting my fingernails. people would totally just think im a girl dressed as whatever the mask presents. maybe a devil per say...ya thats it...i could wear a pair of sexy red pants with high heel strappy shoes. sorta like elizebeth hurley in bedazzled. with the right mask, people would just think im a girl devil...well im all set for october ;)

This Halloween I might dress up, turn on my porch light, and hand out treats at home.

My early costume choice would be a gypsy - black wig, black bohemian top with white embroidery, long tiered broomstick skirt with 3 petticoats underneath, doorknocker size earrings, etc. (A little more fun than a hippy chick, unless my wife would dress as a guy and be Sonny, then I could be Cher).

A couple of years ago I went to one friend's house as a male hippy on a dare with a $2 long black wig with a bandana headband and he almost fell down laughing. The next week a sister in law and her GG housemate came for a visit and the male hippy greeted them at the door and gave them both a laughing fit.

It's so far ahead, I reserve the right to hand out treats in any costume that meets my wife's OK.

I was a cheerleader a few years ago for halloween, and i went for the more realistic look and my gf told me she wore tube socks with the uniform so thats what i did...but i agree that their is no political correctness on halloween...so if you wanna wear the thigh highs then go for it...if it was me i would make it as realistic as possible...any way you do it being a cheerleader is definetely a great costume

Last year on halloween, I saw this teenage girl in the most cutest cat costume I have ever seen. I would love to wear the costume she had, but 2 things stop me:
1. Odd looks from my friends
2. I so don't have the body that she had.... :(

Last year, I had this idea that I never tried, here is the recipe:

Go as a female dog.

1 dress that is a bit stretchy
1/2 dog make up
1/2 woman make up
2 floppy ears.
4 bras.

Afterward, you can talk to the women who were/are at the event about how nice the hose felt, or the dress, or your slip... If you dress in girly stuff and act like you liked it, then you kind of have an "in" to talk about them in the future. It worked for me on the job one year when I went as "half and half."

couple years ago I went to a friend's halloween party as a nurse and my wife was a male doctor. it was fun, and it was hilarious hearing people go "so, how does it feel now that you know what women go through?" and I"m just nodding along like "yeah, whatever.. I love this, but you don't need to know that"

I agree with an earlier writer. Cheerleader uniform is great, but wear the frilliest panties you can find. Allow your skirt to flip up revealing them. A well padded bras is good, too. Happy Halloween!!

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the advice. The person i mentioned in the beginning it turns out has become something of a "female dog." it seems that she has now thought of herself as superior to myself and my friends and constantly makes fun of us, makes fun of where i go to college and, whenever she gets in my car, she ranks on my driving. She does everything short of making fun of my CDing, but i could see it coming, even though she originally was the person to help me to see that it was ok for me to do. Interesting, isn't it.

sorry to hear that Jenny...i had a gf in high school who knew about my dressing she was great with it for about a month then she turned on me(i think she felt like she might be bi and got scared)...ended up telling all her friends but they didnt believe her...they just thought she was crazy and lying ;) i was really suprised when a hooters waitress one day asked me if i liked dressing up...turns out it was one of her old friends she laughed and told me she didnt believe it before she even let me answer...i hope things work out with your friend but remember there are always more girls out there.

Wish I could sew! If I could, I'd make this! I had an awesome time designing this outfit! I even have a few variations, too. Long sleeves, shorter skirt, etc. Maybe I should take up fashion design? LOL...

What do you think?

Sabrina, very sexy costume!! :)

Hmmm.... since '99 I've been a Dallas cheerleader, a schoolgirl, Xena, a Hooters girl, a Vamp princess, and Serena Williams. This year it will be Wonder Woman! Haven't done that yet...

I swear that Halloween makes me feel like a kid again. ;)

Can you show us a pic of you in your cheerleader uniform now?

I want a good cheerleader outfit but the ones on ebay now stink. Nothing good has been coming up for a long time.
