.....pose in the nude?

(Note to moderators: This is not about porn but about human beauty, natural human elegance. So please don't delete it until you've read thru my post.)

I ask this because I find the female human form to be the most elegant, beautiful physical form on earth. Perhaps it's why I cross dress. Perhaps it's why I crave a female body. It's said that imitation is the greatest form of flatterery.

There's an Internet site that displays very tasteful pictures of absolutely gorgeous women in the nude that I access daily for it's new and wonderful pictures. It's not about porn, it's about total admiration of women in their natural form.

I've heard it said that women find it uncomfortable to be seen by other women while naked. However, they find it extra ordinarily flattering to be applauded by men when seen to be beautiful in their natural state.

Therefore, because you say you would like to be a women, as a women, would you be comfortable enough with yourself to pose in the nude for the world to see? I would. I luv my body. I just wish it were female.

No. I was raised to be modest. At 21 I was asked by a womans club owner to dance as a male dancer at her club because I had a decent male bod. Flattering, but no thanks, not for me. Can't see how it would be different just because I had a hot girl bod. Your post about worshipping the female form is pretty inconsistent with what this forum is about. And IMHO, the idea people blessed with hot bods have some sort of duty to display themselves to others seems kinda shallow. Just my :2c:

I have to agree with this. Unfortunately, many women seem to have a tendency to be highly critical of each other. If two women are placed on a bench in a mall to "people watch" (and I have seen/heard/participated in this more than I would like to admit) some...not all...but some women just can't seem to help themselves when it comes to denigrating the other women who walk by. "ooohh, what made her think she could wear that with those hips?" or "that lipstick is absolutely tacky" types of comments seem to be made.

I know that men can be just as cruel, but I also think that many of the so-called "flaws" that we perceive, are sometimes very attractive to some men. The curvy hips and plump derrière that we struggle to get rid of, may actually turn a man on.

And because of the criticism that we know our friends (and, if we are honest, we too) are capable of....I am VERY uncomfortable being nude in front of other women. Most of the women I know are too. But men, Lord bless them, don't seem to mind the sag as much....they are just grateful for a little peek.

Or maybe I am just trying to convince myself Barb really means it when she says that she still finds my slightly overweight, saggy, ruined by 5 childbirths body attractive :o

I wouldn't pose....not even when I was young, thin, and darned HOT!! But I will admit that I agree...I find the female form to be very beautiful. And I also don't mean in a sleazy Larry Flynt posed way. But, the scupltures and nudes of women made by artists are truly lovely.

I love men......but they just aren't as pretty as women :heehee:

Fair enough, but that seems a bit different.

Would you really rather changes clothes in the men's locker room than the women's locker room? I'm much more comfortable being nude (or partially nude) in front of other women than I would be in front of men. I can't imagine stripping naked to put on a bikini in front of a bunch of men - or even just switching to a sports bra, or putting on a pair of shorts.

For that matter, my partner and I have never understood why some women go to a male gynecologist - we are much more comfortable with a woman doctor for doing exams of that nature.

But I suppose that opinions may differ...
Given my preference....I'll change in the bathroom by myself :D But, strictly speaking from an "art perspective"....I'd share a nude picture of myself with a man before I would a woman. But, sharing nude pictures of myself with anyone might not make my husband the happiest.

Of course in practice, if I have to be nude in front of others, I do it in front of women. But....I admit to being uncomfortable in locker rooms. And, I haven't been naked in front of a lot of women, just because there was never a reason to be. I have bared myself in front of men over the years....none other than my SO since marriage, but I was never uncomfortable. Of course......as I stated in my previous post, I was young, thin and darned hot :heehee:

I like that you mentioned gyno's though. I do prefer a woman, but that is because I feel that she will understand any symptoms, descriptions, etc better than a man, rather than because I feel more comfortable with a woman seeing me in a nude and undiginified position. I understand on a logical level that a trained male OB/Gyn will also understand. And as a matter of fact, some of the most informative explanations I have recieved in the stirrups have come from men. But, in spite of the fact that it is completely illogical to feel so, I just feel that a woman understands better. I mean, she doesn't just have the owners manual....she drives the same car too :D

If you pose nude you have already given the surprise away. I like wearing clothing that shows cleavage and legs and maybe a little seductive. But keep the man guessing, I say.

California Dreaming, this past year, had a tg/ts workshop on just this for tg's/ts's. They locked the doors behind them in the workshop room and invited people to disrobe. I thought it was a brilliant idea. Perhaps someone who may have attended the workshop could comment on their experience there.

This is an interesting comment, Dee. As a man I find it easier to be nude/examined by a female doctor. However, it's very difficult to find a female doctor that will take male patients. Whether professional or not, male doctors seem to want to treat other men as if they are in the locker room. I find women professionals to be more professional, more understanding, more compassionate. I just wish we knew how to drive each others cars better.

Uh, I try to leave God out of the affairs of man and womankind, but to answer your question, "yea." And I'll venture to say that "so are you."

When you chose to praise only a small percentage of all the bodies God created, then you are simulataneously adjudging all others as inferior. I'll pass on deciding if that is God's plan or not.

But I will venture that your love of the female form is limited to hot bodies. I seriously doubt you are keeping your scales balanced by spending the same amount of time oogling bodies that are out of tone, over fed, have rashes, blemishes, and scars.

When you do anything that heaps adulation upon a hot bod, M or F, you are simulataneously making the people at the other end of your spectrum of beauty feel self-conscious if not ashamed, of how God created them.

So you're saying that we shouldn't admire anything for the sake finding fault with something else. Sounds like a Quakers philosophy. Don't look at a rose if you can't give the same admiration to a weed.

I knew there was something about this thread that I didn't care for, and this is it. A transsexual doesn't say they would like to be a woman, they are a woman. In any event, I don't care for the direction this is heading, it is now closed.
