I think this may be a topic that has not been touched yet, Are there any FTM that would like to get rid of your Fem clothes maybe even swap for male clothes? I am thinking this may be a cheaper way of aquiring clothing for both FTM+MTF. I am a MTF I would be interested. Any one else?

the subject has been touched before and the conclusion was none of us had any female clothes actually to give away
I've got them. The major hurdle in me giving them away to an MtF is that I'm 5'2" and American size 8. There just aren't that many MtFs to give clothes that size to.

Yeah... I have girl clothes (many of which I'd love to swap, believe me) but I, too, am rather small (5'5" and 120 lbs.)... and that's assuming I could somehow arrange the swap without my mother noticing that, "all those pretty clothes you look so good in are gone!!!"

Sorry mine already went to a charity thrift shop in my purge.

I haven't had any female clothes, apart from the odd choir uniform, since I was eight or nine.

Wow I would have thought the responses would have been totally different, oh well maybe there is someone out there who knows.

1. The big problem lies in the size match. Men tend to be larger than women so the MtF clothes would be to big for the FtMs, and the FtM clothes would be too small for the MtFs.
2. Like Kieron said, there aren't exactly any/many female clothes for most of us to give away.

just out of curiousity why did you think the responses would be different? most of us here dont just CD, we are mainly a TS board although granted a few dont consider themselves TS

I am five foot three and weigh just over 100 pounds. If I had any girl clothes they would fit maybe 12 year old girls. lol Actually my 12 year old niece is already taller than me. Sheesh!! But I got rid of anything remotely female years ago. I think the closest thing I wear to kinda girlish looking is my purple polo shirt and even that I got in the boys department.

Maybe she thought that we wear male clothing once in a while, as a hobby, and usually dress in female clothing. :idontknow:

Yep, they grow some CD's small here in Arizona. I have starved myself down to an 8 Seriously though, there are frame bio-issues. rib cages are wrong and even my bony shoulders are too wide. I'm an 8 in slacks, but a 14 in blouses. This sort of mismatch is common. I was talking ties with Kieron a while ago so I had this bright idea to keep an eye out for you guys when I shop dollar days at the thrift stores. Extending the idea I looked at sport coats one day. Very few were even small enough for me when I weighed nearly 170. Now that I am below 140 its getting hard to fit and I am going to need tailoring. When I was 5'8" and 110 lbs nothing in a mens department fit me, so I don't envy the fitment problems you lads face. You do pretty well though from your pics. I am guessing you use some of the tricks my mom used to use with me. (I HATED it then, it makes me smile now) I had to wear mens cut jeans from juniors department or boys jeans worn a little "high water" style.
I hope you guffaw as hard as I giggled at my latest purchase by Tommy Hilfiger..ready? BOYFRIEND jeans! They have male styling but a slim fit, they fit me great in a size 8. Only problem is I can't decide if I am crossdressing? I considered asking a special dispensation to post some of my recent guy clothing purchases in a guy pictorial in the dudes photo area. I mean I may not have to work as hard at it as some but looking en homme is something of a challenge for me. As a special enticement to the UK lads I should mention that I purchased a handsome sport coat made right here in America with cloth alleged to have been imported from some place possibly near Saville Row. :heehee:

Believe it or not, Taylor and Guthrie, it took a lot of persuasion and not a few bruised knuckles to convince dudes in high school of your general size that I wasnt to be trifled with. At 4'11" and 72 lbs, I do understand why they would have thought I was easy pickings!. And Taylor, I have a 12 year old girl she is already bigger than I was in high school! :)

I got picked on in high school for being a tiny person. It didn't help matters much that I was excelerated and started high school when I was 12. And it didn't help that I always had kids saying "what are you, you freak?" I started taekwondo classes at age 16 and now as a second degree black belt noone would think of messing with me anymore.

Aww... well, at least you learned how to defend yourself early on. I'm actually rather grateful I didn't figure out most of my TG qualities until I was almost done with high school (and I certainly didn't go out in boy mode until after high school). On the other hand, I'm pretty sure my personality scared away most of the jerks. :heehee:

I am also nearly off the charts for n MtF at 5'4 amd 115 lbs.
It would be so much easier to be female. I can wear almost any small in women's, but have bought only ties in men's and even they're too long. on the other hand, prices in the boys' dept are much lower.

Well, the bonus to being small is that I can fit into an X-Large in the boy's childrens department so I can get lots of cool looking clothes for much cheaper than if I fit into mens clothes. I always try to look at the bright side. :)

I know I do, but that's because I'm not TS as such.. but I'm also not just a CDer.
The problem I have with trying to purge and trade clothing is that I'm large, have large girl clothing, and it's almost impossible for me to find decent-looking guy clothes in my size. With the new top I have, I can easily wear an XL in mens for tops.. but bottoms are still a 42".. with a 28-30 inseam. I'm not quite 5' 6", with no torso and no legs. *laughs*

I guess I qualify for the "larger" category, at 5'9" and 230 lbs.
I don't have any female clothes to give away though. I only own gender neutral and male clothes. Last time I wore a skirt was when I was 13 (I'm 44 now). Can't even remember when I last wore a dress.

I'd give you my old jeans if I could. They barely fit me anymore though, they're elastic flared jeans.
