View Full Version : What if? (For those in the closet)

OK, here is a conversation starter. For those of us who are "in the closet" to any degree, i.e. have any restrictions on our crossdressing which causes us to hide it, what if those restrictions were suddenly gone? You can do what you want, when you want. What would be the first thing you do, relating to CDing that is?
My restrictions have to do with a very unaccepting SO which limits what I can do en femme. My list of things I would do ASAP would be (in no particular order)

Full body wax/electolysis/laser hair removal
Grow my hair long and have it styled so no more wigs
Manicure/pedicure, long nails and pretty polish
Breast augmentation
Shopping, large amounts of shopping (wait, I already do this, LOL)

Anyone else have thoughts on this, love to hear more.....Stephanie

Only wife and kids holding me back. If this restriction was raised I wouldn't give a hoot about anyone else. I would wear what i want, where i want, when i want, guy or girl mode

Stuff like hair removal and breast augmentation really isn't in the frame as far as my CD life goes - I am content with the physical situation, it's the social situation I would want to develop. I would be able to socialize with friends openly en femme. I always feel there is a part of me being held back when I am in social situations with those who don't know Ruth (which includes most of my social circle).

Were all in a closet of some sort... some are just larger than others... lol I wouldn't change a thing, physically ... maybe a bit more shopping....

I'd do all EXCEPT b/a. I still like being a disgusting redneck when I am in my male mode, which is 95% of the time

If we didnt have any restrictions, that would be great because society would be completly acceptintg of a man in a dress. So coming to terms to what GID would be easier.

With no restrictions at all I'd go and put my skirt on, go downtown and buy myself a really nice pair of knee-high high heeled boots and then get my other ear pierced.

Hi there, What if????? Well to be honest here, that is mindnumbing!!!!! So little time to do all the things I would want to do as a "real female". for me it would entail getting a "walkin closet built, filling my shoe rack, growing my hair longer, manicure & pedicure, professional makeup, ear piercing, jewelry shopping the list could continue but I will cut it short, I'm sure you get the idea!!!!

There are not restrictions imposed on me I just dont see the point of imposing Toyah on a public that does not want to meet her

The body hair would go first (face too). Then, I'd grow my hair a little bit longer. Don't know if I'd go any further, but I would buy some forms, and a lot of clothes.

I'd probably get a full body wax, which I may still end up doing (or at least back and chest) in the near future, as a few friends of mine already recommend that, even for my male mode. After that, definitely wear make-up, as right now since I am still living at home, and my parents know but don't want to see it, I can change clothes quickly if they need me for something, but getting off make-up would take a while. So definitely get more make-up, learn to apply it, and maybe get a make-over.

i would wonder where my wife went, why and who was gonna smack me in the back of the head when i need it! someone is gonna have to keep me on the right track. seriously, dont think i would want that right now.my closet is nice and comfy, and the world is definently not ready for Christina!

Being single again and living on my own, I have a great latitude of what I wear and when...BUT....even now, I find that when I have family over, Jenni still goes back into the closet...So really my closet has only grown larger.

If all restrictions were gone then I could realize my latest fantasy of operating our big off road forklift in my little black dress and heels.

Hello all,

I am recently divorced from and accepting wife now living on my own with no restrictions, though I had no restrictions before. I am now dressing less and doing less with my body. I do not my body anymore and wear less fem clothing. I am now only restricted by what I want to do. I am learning now to accept myself again without my my ex's support and dressing little by little again.

I am only limited by what I want to do and what I feel comfortable doing.

Love,
Allison

If all restrictions disappeared:yahoo:, I would dress enfemme 24/7. I would do everything non surgical possible to make myself a female. My outward appearance and inner feelings would then be in line with each other. After a while, if I feel the need, I would consider progressing from there to ba, and other surgeries and then maybe SRS.

About all I can some up with is...
1.) Laser hair removal or Electrolysis on the facial hair.
2.) Super cute manicure and pedicure, acrylics/gels.
3.) Spend time with wife in the evenings watching tv/movies etc able to wear a some of my favorite clothes.

I already have my hair grown out so that it will go into a pony tail, and my wife colours it for me.
Already shave pretty much everything, ok everything, and getting legs waxed in a couple of weeks.
Have my toes painted, but would like a nice french pedicure with gels or something so they are smooth and shiny.
Already shop probably more than I should, usually with my wifes' help.

Heck I love my wife :)

Joanne.

So basically if the negative social stereotyping toward transgendered people wasnt really there. Then I would do most things possible to look more feminine. The main problem would be juggling that and still being attractive to my SO.

I'd move my stash from the perverbial closet to the real closet, then go shopping.

I would definaltly get all my hair laser removed. Right now my wife wont let me shave my legs or chest. Perhaps this winter I will be able to, but down here in Texas during the summer most people where shorts and tank tops so she dont want people to see me hairless.
I dont think I would ever go any farther than that as far as surgery.
I would definetly have my toes and fingernails painted.
Get my ears pierced. My wive has offered to pierce one ear but wont let me pierce both. BTW does having both ears pierced mean anything? MY wife seems to think it says I am gay???
But really for the most part I am happy the way things are. I get to dress en femme at home. My wife is fairly accepting of it. So I cant complain

The only differance would be, when I feel like dressing enfemme, I could do it all day (If I felt like it). This means if I ran out of smokes (something I have to have, smokes are my only addiction), I could go to the store and get more, rather than having to change into "drabb" to go get more.
Also, I'd like to not have to "rush" to the bed room to change every time the doorbell rings, leaving the wife to answer it.

Well the first and most important thing, rid of the body hair (and hopefully do something about the facial stuff too) shaving is a pain in more ways than one. The rest (boobs, nails etc) I can leave for another time.

Shopping, being out doing it every time {?} no imposed physical change I think, and anyway I am not after having my white hair growing to the length I want. No I am staying blonde.

I wouldn't get my ears pierced, I faint when I get shots. I even get queasy when people talk about them.

I am unfortunately a widow since 2001 and raising my yougest daughter who is now 17 and she knows who I really am. I just told her that I am going to grow my hair Long and Grow my own nails longer and do my eyebrows and facial hair and go out dressed up and if she would like she can accompany me. If I meet another female she is obviously going to see who I really am. Its too late in my time as I just turned 59 and I can pass as a average woman as you can tell from my photo as I have went out and not one person stared or even looked at me. So I right now am putting this intial question to a real test. Especially since my hair has grown as you can see in my photo. I also explained to some of the Beautiful Ladies I am also taking natural herbs for the bust developement and it is working. Joann

I thought Stephanie was referring to constraints other than societal disapproval, more like what would you do if you were single and had no family. You'd still have to live and make a living in the world as it is now.

I like my male life, so I wouldn't make any drastic changes physically, maybe shape my brows, luckily, I don't have a lot of body hair to contend with. I'd dress a couple of times a week and go out, and meet with other gurls.

Yaaa, that's what I actually did (other than shaping my brows) back in the 70's, when I regularly spent a couple of nights a week in LA, away from home...

As several other girls have said; body and facial hair removal would be first priority. Then a visit to MAC for a proper lesson in how to apply make-up; then ears pierced - (I adore jewelry and can't wait to be able to buy really nice earings). Once the basics are set; MASSIVE expenditure on clothes and a search for venues to show them off and get to meet some of my lovely sisters.

Right now it's the wife who holds me back because of what people might think. So it would be 24/7 for me and the hell with what people think. I'm retired and have the right to do as I please.:hugs:

First i would get my nails done and then hit the mall. It would be nice to get out of the closet and be 24/7 but the only way thats going to happen is if I move and start a new life.

First - remove the constriction of running into people who might not be ready for Colleen. I would:
- dress for a day at the mall
- go there and start with a makeover to see how to do it right
- buy the recommended cosmetics
- shop, stopping for coffee, lunch, cocktails
- go home and change into one of these brand new outfits for the evening
- dinner and show, preferrably in a theatre with a big lobby and a performance with lots of intermission time

Next - remove the constriction of having to appear male the next day to coworkers, friends, drinking buddies, locker-room acquaintances etc.
- complete body-hair removal
- ear-piercing - and more shopping
- a hair-weave or something other than a wig
- a day at the spa - facial, manicure, French nails, pedicure etc etc

Ah - bliss!

My 'What if' is pretty simple. I would just get rid of all the hot, uncomfortable dress pants, button down shirts and ties I have to wear to work and replace them with clothes from my OTHER closet. Some nice light sundresses, skirts, etc.

I might actually ENJOY going to work every day if I could be comfortable!

I really don't think I'd do any modification to my body, though I WOULD be tempted to do electrolysis on my face (even if it weren't for CD reasons... I just think having to shave every day is a PITA).

Breast augmentation is high on my list. Can one augment breasts without hormones? I would like to "have" to wear a bra. and not need boobs-in-a-box. Will stimulation promote breast growth, or is there another "natural" way?
