Long line bra?

I am thinking of getting a long line bra instead of a waist cincer. I wear a 34 b bra. I am wondering about the sizing, not so much the cup size but my waist is about 34 and if I bought a 34 b long line bra would that cinch my waist enough. If I could get something nice and tight which would end just below my waist it would make my hips look bigger as well. Any advice?

I own a long line bra,my waist is about 24,and it cinches it about 1 inch,If I were you I would go ahead and get a girdle,or a waist cincher.
In my expirience they work better.

If you really want to cinch your waist, there's nothing better that a real back laced corset, under-bust if it's only your waist you want to cover. It can take you in over 4", but get one that's built for waist training. The "lingerie" versions may look good and be cheap, but they won't last long under serious pressure. I love the the thought and the feeling of being laced in tight (it's only happened to me 3 times!), and the effect on the figure is really exciting to me, and you're right, it emphasises the contrast between waist and hips. You can lace a corset in as little or as far as you wish, but if you dislike the idea or the stiffness of a real corset, then a girdle or waist cincher would help a little, as Lucy suggests. The smaller the size you buy, the greater the effect.
