Hi,
Im sorry if i sound really dumb asking this, but there are a lot of abbreviations being used in this forum and seeing as im relatively new to the scene im not sure what they all mean.. some of them are pretty obvious to me, but im kinda stuck on a few..
GG?
TS? ( i know i really should know)
any others that you know are used please let me know!
Once again sorry if i seem a little stupid!
We've all gotta start somewhere!
Seth.

You're not stupid. Abbreviations can take a while to get a hold of.

GG means Genetic Girl. They're women who were born women. Most of the GGs on this site are SOs (significant others) of a MtF CD.

GM means Genetic Male, similar to GG just reversed.

TS means transexual, having the mind of one sex but the body of another.

TG is transgendered, where the gender isn't exactly what their body is.

CD is crossdresser, most of the FtMs here are TS or TG, though some are CD.

FtM is female-to-male.

MtF is male-to-female.

Other terms are cisgendered, which means that the gender and body match (not trans people).

Androphilic means attracted to men.

Gynophilic/gynephilic means attacted to women.

LGBTIQQ mean Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Intersex, Queer, and Questioning.

I'm just full of random (and often useless) information. If you have any other questions, just ask. :smilep: There's no such thing as a stupid question.

I think the "GG" stumps the majority if not all newcomers.
It took me awhile to figure that one out myself.
