I found out I could resist the call of lace, makeup, wigs, etc. I never revealed myself to my X and I didn't dress for several years. But I did keep all of my stuff hidden and as soon as she was no longer in my life, I went back to dressing immediately.

I guess I would choose never dressing again.





But, I would find some way to do it anyway. I know that is not answer you're looking for but I certainly couldn't choose going femme 24/7. At least at this time in my life.

Given this IS a hypothetical, but one that has NO gray area -- it is all or nothing. I cannot imagine life without my female personna -- to deny it would be antithesis of who am!!! While I have no desire to transition, if faced with the choice of (a.) never dress again at all in any way or to any degree, or (b.) dress 24/7/365, I'd choose the latter. Perhaps part of my reasoning is based on the fact that I have lived the majority of my life mainly as a male; freely crossdressing has increased greatly starting a little over a decade ago (when I met and married my soulmate and split-apart -- my wonderful wife). Since I have spent a great part of my life fearfully hiding who I am, if faced with this decision today -- and with no "wiggle-room" -- I'd have to opt to spend what time I have left on this earth expressing that which I have repressed so very much during my lifetime!!!

What a terrible choice! I really enjoy being a woman at home and private office, in the comfort of my own space. So I am definitely dressed as a guy more and relate more to being a guy. My female dressing is a sexy feel good time. I would have to lose that if I had to make a choice.

If I could stop? . Thats the real question. I know I can't stop. I have been doing this since 12 or 13 and am now 59. The problems that my dressing has caused has put my life at times in chaos. I love dressing, but I also love my family. It's almost like saying to stop is like asking me to cut off my arm.
