can we change the word that is used to describe what it is we do??? crossdresser is kind of a harsh word to me, sounds like we dress crosses. i know it sounds silly but i feel if we used a dif word maybe it would be easyer for the small minds to better understand us,, maybe {crossgendering}... women who wear pants r crossgenderd in my book also  crossgenderd???is that a word????

Crossdresser or Tranny is fine with me.

Its "obsessedwithpantyhos" that sounds a bit extreme :p

Hmmm...no "crossdresser," huh?

OK, how about Eddie Izzard's "Executive Transvestite"?

I think "conquistador" has a nice ring to it in this context, too.

"I am a conquistador with fabulous makeup."

I will also accept "equal opportunity gender consultant," "skirt quality control specialist," "CTO (Chief Tucking Officer)", "hobbyist," "GG Enthusiast," "Panty and Lingerie Engineer," and so forth.

I like "cross gender expression".

I've always thought crossdresser said it rather plainly. I never looked at it as dressing crosses. It certainly doesn't have that sound transvestite carries.

How about... People who dress in the clothing intended to be worn by those of the opposite gender. Not as succinct as crossdressing, but leaves little room for interepretation.

Why on earth would we change what works ?

Oh ya i don't find the term "Crossdresser" offensive..

However call me a "DragQueen" and you'll wake up on the floor...

I back that one up, but when whoever wakes up on that floor I may have 'altered' their attire so they know what it really means to be dressed
