I'm going out en femme with my girlfriend and her friend. We're going as some sort of theme, the 20s or British Pop Stars, or anything for which we can find a set of 3 cohesive dresses, really. Any ideas for me? What would be your fantasy if you were doing this?

or

What are you going as?

My GF and I are going as Sonny and Cher...I'm still trying to deicde if I want the 'glam-dress' look, or the 'wild-print tunic top and jeans look'

My GF and girl friend, want to go as a theme, but all-girl, so Sonny and Cher wouldn't work.

Go as Cher in the 90s, and old politician Sonny.

I'm trying to think of a male costume that cunningly incorporates either makeup or tights... only come up with Robin Hood so far. Any suggestions?

Since there are three of you, how about "Charlie's Angels"?

My wife and I are going out as danny and sandy from grease. I am sandy of course. :)

Here is an idea.. not sure how you would work it but since there are 3 of you what about going out as the girls from charmed?

Any of the 1950's all-girl rock groups would be cute -- and costumes abound (poodle skirts, bobbi socks, etc.). Maybe one of the girl groups from the '80s would be better - especially if you like to wear miniskirts.

Ooh -- a more modern group that is full of sexiness and energy: The Pussycat Dolls!!!

My wife thinks it is wierd, but I am really excited to dressup as a girl for the first time in public. the thought of this makes me really really happy. I am having my makeup done by a MAC consultant. Did I mention I was really excited.

P.S. I brought my first bra. A lacy and very padded red bra.

Mine was a She-Devil.. click here http://www.flickr.com/photos/karrenhutton/sets/72157602345656173/show/.. But I did it for a Makeuptalk photoshoot.. And was the first one to post.. Appearently the GG's there are too shy! Go figure! Lol. And it got great reviews over there..

One girl from Canada I chat with said "Got to love a holiday where the guys all dress like girls and the girls dress like ****s". Lol. I responded back "Most of the guys I know dress like ****s too... Hehehe

My wife e-mailed me telling me she was going as a GOGO Dancer and I would be Austin Powers. I suggested we go as twins, but no such luck. Hey it's the first time she wanted to wear a costume in about 20 years. At least it's a start.

Yeah, good ideas, 80s bands, charlie's angels, bt I think flappers, yeah or something that is less costume-y. I just want to wear a nice dress, heels, pierced ears, but still make it fun for all of us. My girlfriend and her friend won't find it fun to just go as 'girls', and I won't find it fun to go as an exaggerated girl. That's just me.

How about this: Sex and the City? That might be fun for them? Overdone fashion clothes?

Can you redeive out TV signals that far north? You could go as the "Golden Girls" Remember Estelle Getty, Betty White--Blanche and Maude?

Or go as TV's "Designing Women" Dixie Carter always had great clothes, in that show.

Or how about "What Not to Wear". That bossy woman and her swishy partner and the unsuspecting victim. The names escape me.
