My landlady may have seen me

I went to my car to get something after I walked back to the house I looked down the driveway and the landlady was at the her mail box so she may have seen me but I don't really care :hugs:

Well, while you don't say how long of a look she got, or at what angle of view, chances are she didn't get a good enough look to make any type of positive identification, especially since you say there was a bit of distance. I dress every Halloween, and my wife and I are amazed every year at how neighbors who are out taking their children Trick-or-Treating -- neighbors who know me well -- don't recognize me. It borders on the incredulous. IMO, people are often so wrapped up in their thoughts and business, that anything short of painfully obvious just doesn't register. Your attitude is great, Angie, but she probably just saw what her mind quickly processed (and then moved on from) as a female.

I had a landlady see me at my first apartment as well. She acted as if everything was normal and said hi to me, but seemed to smile a little longer whenever I dropped things off at her office after that lol.

Usually, landladies are concerned if they see foreigners in their buildings. If she showed no signs of concern, she knew that she doesn't need to worry because you aren't one of them. Everything's ok.

I go to pick up the newspapers at the end of the drive with my dogs every morning. I know I've been seen many times by neighbors driving by, but maybe they are to busy thinking about wherethey are going. When we have neibourhood meetings no one looks at me funny. And like you hon.
