A few weeks ago I woke up with an idea for an Inner Identity Symbol based on the tried and true Roman symbols for male (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Male) and female (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female).
I scribbled the designs down in a little notebook that I keep near the bed and today I finally got around to drawing them up digitally.

For some reason attachments aren't working so I put it up on flickr.

Hope you like them and have fun with them.

It might bring the message across more effectively if the white parts connected, ie. the white cross connecting with the circle instead of having a blue line in between.

That could work too.

I imagined these as pendents with the inner white areas actually being hollow. I might make some out of clay and see how they look in 3-D.

Have you seen the ones worn quite widely in the UK?
