You're right, that was from Nash Bridges and the plot involved one of the cops going undercover as a drag queen. A lousy series but a GREAT episode!!!

Yes it was Nash Bridges. The plot of the story was, the SFPD was getting alot of runs for trans persons getting atacked. The guy was a police officer going undercover. The charcter RuPaul was playing was called in to help him get into the local TG scene.

There was another Nash Bridges episode where his father started dating this woman and fixed Nash up with the woman's daughter. Later Nash's father finds out the daughter is a Post-op TS. Nash goes out with her anyway even after his father tells him in a Apology.
