I don't know if it is kewl to post this thread here, but I guess it will just be removed if it is not kewl.
Anyway, I am just curious about the other girls here, and I would like to know what your preference is.
My preference is with men and sometimes other CD's/TV's/TS's. When I was younger, I used to consider myself to be straight because I only dated GG's. Then eventually I started dating bot GG's and men. Actually it was only one man at first and he kind of brought out my feminine side. Eventually I found that I was only attracted to men and other girls like us.
If you all find this offensive, just let me know and I will not post anymore threads like this, but I am just curious to know about you girls.

I have only ever been with girls. And I have to say, I love them. I will never give them up. And not only sexually. I love being with and around girls more than guys. Probably cause most of my friends growing up were girls... which might have something to do with the girl in me.
However, that only having been with girls comment I started with doesn't apply to pre-teen experimentation. Which I only ever did twice with the same guy who was a year older than me. But for the past seven to ten years of have wondered with increasing frequency what it is actually like to be a girl in all ways including relationships and sex. So I guess I am bi-curious. I remember that oral experiment, and I remember enjoying it. When I do watch porn I'd more often rather be the girl than the guy. I have two problems though, shyness is one and the other is that I do not look at all like a girl. In fact, I am not of the type that guys find attractive.
Though I will say, I do not find guys attractive at all. It's really just the girl in me who wants is. Which is kind of a good thing, cause it means I really won't be into looks when I do start dating guys.
(Which I am now trying to find one guy to share the girl in me with)

GG's for me. even though i've been dressing since i was 15 (i'm 62 now) my only sexual preference has been gg's. don't get me wrong, i'm not bashing gay people, i have gay friends, relatives, and even had a gay brother in law (who furnished me with some very important tips on dressing and feminizing). i've always felt more comfortable around gg's,socially, and enjoy being intimate with them sexually. I don't want to over emphasize this by repetition, but I felt I should say something here:

Only GG's. 35 years ago, I was in stationed in Hawaii and had a guy try to
hit on me in a store - right out in public. I decked him in front of 3 people and they applauded me! I don't go for the gay thing, although the wife and I have some gay friends.

Delilah

Even with an inappropriate and unwelcome advance, this is not acceptable to me to let this just stand. Perhaps in earlier times, with less understanding of yourself and others issues, it was a bit of a knee jerk reaction as it was I'm sure from the bystanders.

There have been some hateful comments in the comments section of my local paper online as well as on the radio here about transgendered persons. In response to a local tempest in a teapot with a transgendered person that was discriminated against. Comments ranged from they should get their own place to go, to too bad we don;t lock up weird relatives in the attic, to they need to be committed to a mental institution because they are sick

In the comments there was a self identified gay man spewing bigotry about 'the tranny' as he said.

I also was reading a prominent gay blog articulating feelings about T being left out of GLBT recent bill in the house. His take was even handed but some of his readers were vitriolically bigoted. Referring to T-persons as those 'mutilating' their bodies. Decrying any association with such people. To be fair some readers reminded the bigots that the Stonewall Riots were led by transvestites.

Ugly is ugly regardless of gender or orientation.

Wow, I thought this would have been a more even split, but the overwhelmig respose seems to be towards GG's. I have nothing against GG's in fact when I was younger I dated nothing but gg's. Perhaps I would still see a GG if I had found one that was accepting of me. The fact of the matter is that I was not able to find one once I made my decision to dress. Men on the other hand are everywhere LOL.

Anyway, it's nice to know a little more about you all and hopefully you don't look at me as the "freak girl" of the club LOL.

GGs only as far as sexual encounters go.

Tho maybe another question would be "how much physical affection would you show to another crossdresser"? Non sexual mind you. GGs will show a lot of physical affection toward each other, some of it even intimate, and not be considered lesbian, because that's how girls are. When I'm out with my Sisters, I identify them as girls. We hug when we meet. I've been pecked on the check by another crossdresser. I've been out dancing with them face to face (even rear to rear LOL) and I've hardly ever felt uncomfortable. And yet I don't consider myself gay, since I'm not attracted to men.

Someday we'll all figure it out have a good laugh when we're done. :D

I don't know. that's kind of an unfair question for me.

In guy mode I have no interest in men what so ever!

In Girl mode (I hate to admit this) but sometimes I get urges to be with... a guy :GE: (if you know what I mean ), and from what I've heard from other members its a really different experience.

right now, in somewhat drab I prefer GG's only.

I had the same thought, Barbara. Delilah, how do you justify this? So a guy expressed interest in you - big deal. Were you embarrassed because it happened in public? Women have to deal with this every day. And if every woman were to "deck" every man who had ever given her an unwelcome advance, there would be a lot of hitting resulting from being hit on. Lighten up, hon. If you're not interested, all you have to do is say so - no need to get violent. I realize this was 35 years ago, but you sound like you're proud of it.

Currently none :(

I guess it would be whatever I found I wanted. Never really limited my self in scope to such things. I mean I am a gender freak after all breaking social norms but wearing women's clothing, acting somewhere between androgynous and feminine and working on crossing to the female side of the fence.

If I fell in love with someone, I would care less the gender of that person. As a TG I have learned it is about the who they are and not what gender they present.

I mean thinking about it, why do we need to still live in this little 2 dimensional window of the world any longer?

When I am dressed in my most feminine clothes, when my makeup is perfect, when I feel like a princess, when my body tells me I am female, when every feeling I have is a female feeling, when my body tingles and vibrates with the electricity of femininity, when my mirror tells me I truly am a woman, when my lingerie caresses me, I want to be a woman in every way! I want to be loved and touched and kissed by a strong, wonderful loving man. I want to roll up in his arms and feel protected and safe. I want to make him feel like a man. I want to be his woman.

So, I guess you could say I prefer men.

Quack Quack!

for me it is GG's in male mode and either when en fem .

being dressed puts me in a very submissive mood and most women i have encountered do not like to take the dom role in love making while men or other cd's have no trouble taking charge and makeing me feel like a woman.

There was a time in my life, after my dear wife passed away, when I thought about becoming a woman totally, and of course having men in my life. Then I met, online, an absolutely amazing GG who totally changed my mind. I now refer to her as my GGF, which to me means Golden Goddess Friend, because that is what she is. She knows all about my CD activities, as did my wife, but likes me as a man. So that is what I am! Strictly GG's for me, ot to be more precise, only GGF for me!!

I just need to say, in response to BarbaraTalbot's post, ....
Wow.
Where I come from CD's are all in the closet, or you can't tell the difference. And where I moved to they are openly accepted. So I am not used to hearing people say things about it. But I can't imagine why someone would have a problem with it. Even if I didn't dress myself, I could never fault some else for doing it. It's not about what someone looks like, and clothes are only an extension of looks even if they do show personality. It's about who someone is inside.
People who think otherwise just can't be happy with themselves.

Isn't that a bit drastic? I have been propositioned by men several times in different places (in all-male mode, it had nothing at all to do with CDing because I wasn't at the time). Mostly they were nice polite guys and so I just said no. One or two were greasy creeps I just walked away from. But ... even though I wasn't interested in any, I certainly didn't feel any need to belt them!

You've completely missed the point, hun. Women don't generally punch guys out in any generation - the point is that just because someone shows unwanted interest in us, we don't need to get violent. Just say "no thanks". It would be really stupid for me to get offended by and defensive towards every woman that comes on to me, don't you think? Same principle applies to Delilah's situation.

When I'm Tricia, I seek women and other 'girls' for conversation, advice, companionship and friendship, but for romance or sex, it's men, men, men, and only men. I need to be held, kissed, and loved by men, and I want to do everything to them that that they need to be satisfied.

In male mode, the thought of being with a guy or a sister does absolutely nothing for me - it has to be a GG only.

LilahCD

Technically I'm "bi".

Most of my life I probably leaned towards men, was known as the town gay guy in several small communities, could pass without dressing (to the point of guys buying me drinks)

First time was with a GG, afterwards I tried 100% hetero. made a bunch of new friends, then a chance encounter with a "friend" brought all of it back. Comments of being in the "glass closet" abounded no matter how hard I tried to hide it. I'd cover by being a chauvinistic jerk, which didn't work. "Closet" comments increased, et al...

Now I've stepped out of the closet, lost all "friends" from my hetero life, currently in limbo............

And couldn't be happier!

p.s. I do actually have a sexual attraction towards women.. but I wonder if I'm the only GM here that it feels "wrong" for, somehow..

Good points CaptLex. Compared to women in Europe, American GG's don't know how to say, "No", very clearly. They r improving their diction, it seems. Men, in general, don't know how to say, " No", period. ( This is not a comment on; cds, tfs, mtfs, rdfs, tss, tgs, rtds, stds, or mmfs.)

Hey, My dressing as a "girl" bummed out every woman ..I've been involved with ...(so far) even if sex was great when I was in "guy" mode.. truth is .. I love Women !! While femminine beauty .. is sometimes found in persons like myself ...transgendered does'nt frighten me much, as I find some of "us" might be more sexually charged or
open ..than the general population is (no-doubt-hehe) ...so I try to remain hopefull ..to find ...

Well...you will not likely get a "straight" answer out of too many here...

My general preference is women...but I have been with men as well.

It seems that this topic is a subject of division among us. I think many lash out because of fear.

We are all different. Embrace that. It takes a great deal of understanding to relate to what we are...if you cannot understand those around you, how can you expect those around you to understand you???

I love women and find their bodies attractive and sexy.

I find male bodies unattractive and disgusting. I can not look at male bodies they really turn me off.

I do not like my bits and would like female bits.

But if I became a woman overnight I would not want to be a lesbian.

It turns me off to have sex with a woman as a women as much as having sex with a man as a woman. Confusing is it not?

I have fantasies about having sex with a man as a women but really doing it makes me sick.

I think I would be a Nun if I became a woman, except I am an atheist!

Boy, am I messed up!

YESS!.. I LOVE GGs!, Especially my Wife! As I am only attracted to the feminine, I have seen more than a few TG types in my life, who DO Turn me ON! Even when seeing, "ahem".. "ALL", of them!.
Soo I would be labeled as Bi Curious I guess! But a true Masculine MALE does not turn me on at ALL! = Kind of ikky =.. :puke: I think..

Ok, so i'm bi, about 60/40. i enjoy both women and men, but if having to chose one, woman.

i have had fantasies about TS/TG individuals. Never really thought about being with a CD. Sorry girls. However that could be interesting, the more passable the better.
The survey definitely needs an all of the above option.... If i could have them all at once, just once....
On the other hand, i'm happy as a cross dressing male, but if i could spend a couple weeks as a women, with the correct bits,  i would definitely be interested in men, i'd love to experience that. GG/TS/TG would also attract me.

I just found this topic and upon reading the poll at the top I was given pause. This perspective may have been already expressed in one of the previous hundred-odd replies, so forgive me if I am being redundant.

Dressing is a very sexual thing for me; the ultimate expression of my submissive self and my deep rooted desire to be dominated, used, abused and humiliated. I'm straight, and I have no sexual interest in males, as such.

BUT... I have recently entertained (seriously) the scenario of meeting with certain specific like-minded (read: kinky) t-gurls for isolated assignations. I am not sure if this is just castles in the air or a paradigm shift. Could these thoughts be attributed to a desire for new level of sexual humiliation and/or an acceptance of other t-gurls as suitable "playmates"? I'm also not sure whether I am/should be excited, dismayed, accepting or repulsed by this prospect.

Therein lies the rub...

I think therefore I fall into a sixth category, one which I am at a loss to define or quantify.

Analysis and comment welcomed.

I followed Kristen's advice to buy a nice pair of jeans, a top, and sliders to re-acclimate to getting back into dressing. I did, as well as control panties and a bra. Tonight, I shopped for three hours till I found a pair of high heel booties and black tights, that price and size worked.

Girls! I got home. Put everything on, then-presto! I went to a bar that has drag shows, dressed with the all the items mentioned! No make up, no wig, just a guy dressed! I entered the bar with no problem, found a stool by the bar, and sat down. Girls, I was accosted by a guy, who was fairly "lit" up, as soon as I got my drink. Clearly he was on the downside slope for the evening. Another guy came up, wearing a cowboy hat, and I started to tease him about his hat. He teased my about my cowl neck sweater being so "nellie", or retro. Found out that he had taught Human Sexuality at Iowa University and he was gay, his SO was in New York on a business trip.
We talked while he was on my right, then after our conversation, he moved to my left, and sidled his body up against me.

Sisters! I have always been a gg Guy! Tonight I was dressed, and he had his body and leg against mine at the bar. I found myself teasing his leg with mine, rubbing it up and down with mine. It felt wonderful! I had panty hose on under my jeans, and the sensation of teasing him with my leg by softly rubbing up and down it was a HUGE turn on! I played with his leg for a bit, then like a true gg, I pulled body contact away from him. The next thing I knew, he was moving his right leg as far has he could at the bar to touch mine. Another turn on!

LOL, I have to laugh at this. My next move was to wrap my leg and foot around this leg and pull and rub it with my foot!

I was dressed, I have always prefered gg's! BUT, I was scoping out and bird eyeing all the TS, and CD's that were entering the place, and coming up to the bar...

I have to sum this up, that something really strange happens to me when I am dressed "enfemme" and in a bar where it's tolerated....

LOL, the guy stayed true to his "husband", I think I got him so riled that he up and left the place. I remained where I was at, but smiled at being able to tease a man-albeit a gay man, to the brink! This is wild, but I fantasized while I teased him, about going home with him and seeing where things might go....

I enjoy and like being a man, but dressed up as a lady, it looks like I'm a tease! Had a great time! Most importantly, it felt really really good! I love women, I love to look at attractive women, but tonight as "en femme", I loved and fantasized about the attention of a man....

Question is, as a man dressing "en femme" how far does it go?

When I'm in boy mode, I have no interest in men. But in girl mode, I would like to be treated as a girl, sexually, by a man.

I've done it a few years ago when my Wife was dominating and force feminizing me. But now that I understand and accept that I really want to be feminine, it would be nice to do it "voluntarily".

Bottom line, as a male I'm pretty much straight, but en femme, I'd like a man.

I don't think that I have interest in playing with another CD.

GGs only for me. I know I'm not gay because I've had 2 opportunites for a gay encounter (with friends that I didn't know to be gay or, in the second instance, bi).

The first guy, we actually shared a hotel room at a sales conference. I turned down his advances flat. Coincidentally, since he moved away from this area, he has figured out that he is actually transgendered and now lives as a pre-op. She is the only person outside my wife whom I've told of my crossdressing.

The other was an old friend from high-school who told me in a quiet moment at our class reunion that he has always found me attractive. Again hotel rooms were available for actually proceeding with an assignation, but again I said I wasn't that way inclined.

Somebody earlier mentioned TS literature. I am a bit of a porn hound, and like straight porn as well as TS porn. When viewing male/TS porn, I invariably identify with the male in the partnership, but in female/TS porn I identify with the TS. Either way, I do love a c0ck in a frock.

I guess the question is then.....if my now TG friend had presented as a female, would I have been more inclined towards accepting his advances? And the truth is that I don't know if I could answer that question.

Well, let me start out by saying that I have leaned a bit toward the Bi side since I was young, so, when I am in male mode it is mostly GG's but a nice guy, maybe. And I have always wanted to be with another CD/TG gal. And the attraction to males and CDs increases when I am en femme. My ultimate sexual fantasy is a nice couple, GG and CD, to play with, with me en femme. Now mind you, this is all about sexual attraction, as far as emotional attachment it is definately GGs with a possibility of CD/TG, and maybe the perfect male. A bit complex, is it not........Stephanie

I wonder how objective a straw poll like this can be when we have members whose SOs peruse our boards.

I think the only way to do this would be to close the thread to discussion and only allow anonymous voting. Even then I think you would get skewed results.

I would be interested to see what our stats woman has to say about this.

Kinda like conducting a poll on infidelity. Can't you just hear the SOs right now: "That right! You better not say you would cheat on me". lol

I used to wonder about the feminine side of heterosexual male crossdressers. The femme side, being also "straight" MIGHT be attracted to males at times, if so inclined. Acting on that attraction may not be an option, simply by having a natural preference to GG's.(but there is nothing wrong with a straight man being fascinated by, or attracted to another male, or a "butch" woman.) I am often attracted to all kinds of people, and ponder the possibilities, but acting on them may bring MORE problems for all involved. Attraction isn't necessarily sexual, but may be "chemistry" or "magnetism". Finding an enduring friendship, instead of heavy sexual engagement may be more rewarding than a temporary quickie. Nothing can equal a real connection to another person when both are satisfied, be it sexually, socially, or emotional. (the average horn dog guy would go for the quickie) I am basically attracted to men, but sensitive straight men. Seeing his dressed feminine side would be a plus. I am never attracted to overly aggressive men who don't like to be told "NO" or "let's get to know each other better first". I am open to variety in my love life. I haven't given up the desire for closeness. A big bowl of ice cream as a substitute for affection can only take me so far.

For me, I have to say men. I'm married to a wonderful GG, would not want to be with any other GG. I have had sex with men while in drab, and while dressed. It was all good. My sexuality does not change by what I wear. I love the "parts" men bring to the dance. Lol! I am also very attracted to pretty TG's (mtF). Haven't had the opportunity to experience sex with a TG yet, but it is very high on my (to do list).
To the person who used violence against a person who expressed an attraction to you, you should have been flattered, then said no thank you, I am straight, and only like GG's. Your post seems to indicate great pride in hurting that person. That is so wrong, and ignorant. May the next person that "hits" on you be a 5th degree black belt in some martial art. Just my 2 cents. I'm bi, and have been for a lot longer than I've been dressing.

I prefer GG's though, only I have an affinity for, well, carresing the male g-spot, . :heehee:

Although maybe I'm simply odd, but dressing makes me MORE attracted to GG's, maybe because I feel like i can indentify with them more. I have yet to have a sexaul encounter when dressed however, so who knows.

Also, an encounter with another CD might prove very interesting. I'm normally very submissive with men, but theres a few gurls on this site that make me wonder if that could change lol.

I'd been dressing for about 10 years and had always fantasised about being with another CD.
I was a bag of nerves before trying it and it was the best ever, knowing all the tricks of turning her on made for a magical experience which needed repeating asap
Now when dressed I split my attention between other CDs and guys, I think its a combination of the female half taking over when Im fully en femme and enjoyment of what a male has down below.
Ive been married 15 years but have started meeting other CDs when we are both in drab to arrange dressing up encounters which invariably lead to something else - however I'm finding myself attracted to them & fantasising about them before they are dressed up.

Sometimes I think there is a bit of a culture of denial about crossdressers and homosexual desires - a significant amount of CDs would and do enjoy same sex encounters, especially if it comes in the form of another particularly pretty CD

HI Dana;
I think your post is fine and wish they would allow a little more reveling post here. I was a married straight guy once, although I had been dressing from a young age, but now my preference is ALL MEN, and they have to be straight or at least think they are straight, I dont like gay men and dont date gay men. I have a lot of CD and TG girl friends and even a lot of RG girl friends hell I even have a lot of guy fiends, but as far as my sexual preference is its straight men, and the straighter the better, lol, Monica.

I have always cosidered myself a straight male, however, I've got to admit that when dressed I quite often have fantasies of being with a man. I don't know if it means that the feminine side of me has taken over and brought deeply buried bi-sexual urges (that I didn't know I had) closer to the surface. At the same time I'm excited & scared by the feelings. Maybe someday I will just have to act on these feelings to know for sure.

The results of this poll are very interesting, pretty much shoots down the mantra that CD's are highly heterosexual. I realize that there are some TS's here, but the overwhelming majority of the members, and therefore voters, are CD's. Only 53% are strictly hetero, a much lower number than among non-CD males.

There are short answers, and accurate ones.
IMJ, seldom the twain does meet.
So I feel disappointed about most one-question polls.
There is almost always more complexity than is offered in the answer choices.

What I miss here is, what is your practiced preference, and what might you be open to?
After all, we all have a few things on our shopping lists that we have never yet gotten into our closets....fresh meat rather than skeletons, I say.

So, SIGH!, maybe someday the board will support more than one question in a poll, or we will all do exhaustive diligence in enumerating EVERY possible meaningful answer to a question before presenting it to our August Body.

Well can we give any statistical confidence to these results? First of all there is an enormous statistical bias: only "Crossdressers.com" members participated to the survey. I think that we, here, are by no mean a representative sample of the Crossdressing population.

All we can say then is that the population that answered the poll (Members of crossdressers.com accepting to answer) has these characteristics, in particular a higher ate of homosexuality and B preferences than other surveys had observed. This poll says nothing about the overall crossdresser population.

Some other surveys have been done with slightly more "scientific methods" about various characteristics of x-dressers. I can't remember the references if these researches but some one had given then in a post on that subject.

Designing a survey and conductin it is a complex endeavour...I know, I've been doing it professionally for a great part of my career...

Designing a survey and conductin it is a complex endeavour...I know, I've been doing it professionally for a great part of my career...

Hi Eugenie,

I've been around the community for many years, and this poll strongly agrees with what I saw in the community in general. Why would you think that we aren't typical?

I've read all 151 posts so far and even though I would have answered "gg's only" at the top of the thread, now I'm not so sure.

I agree that the poll is not truly scientifically offered. There are too many ways that the sample could be biased (monitoring SO's, inclusion of wishes as actual action, etc). The only answers I can 100% believe are those of the admitted gay not-girls who say "Men!Men!Men!". They may be the only sector of the membership represented in the poll who really know who they are and are comfortable as they are.

For me, I think i agree with Melora (#93) that men or men parts do not turn me on at all, but when looking at a seriously gorgeous T-girl, that might not be important to the reality of the immediate desire. Especially because, as several others have said, desire for an intimate relationship in my case will ultimately rest on the person and not just the look.
A drop dead and willing T-girl would turn me off if she turned out to be ignorant or bigotted or totally self-absorbed. I don't want sex just for the sake of sex. I want sex as the culmination of a commitment to share a spiritual bonding.

As a man, I'm attracted to women. As a woman, I'm attracted to women. And as we know some CD's, and most TS's are really women. Just ask 'em! So there's a big pool of possibles for me, as it turns out.

Remember the new wave song from the 80's? Never say Never!

Thanks for helping me clarify my own confused thoughts on this important question.

respect & love

GG's all the time but when in fantasy mode I think of being with a male. I think that is common.

GG's for me. Wife posed a question of what would I do if a man came on to me while out and dressed. Told her I would refuse, but she says I might not. She is worried I might go with another man nd can't make her see I am Like another post, lesbian in a mans body, dressed like a woman. I have never been out dressed so everything is hypothetical. One day I will get out and about.

Only GGs for me, but it is so frustrating when they don't want people like us.

I appreciate both GGs and men regardless of how I am presenting myself. I always have. I've never really given any thought to being with another TG, but I would not rule out the possibility.

growing up, i've always loved gg's and i still do. however, having dressed since my pre pubescent years, i eventually found myself in various situations and places where i've met a wide variety of people. exploring my own inner complexities opened me to the idea that a person can be beautiful regardless of gender indentification or external packaging. I found that my own ideas of beauty (while most still resonate within me) were the results of my upbringing and my society. While I am married and love my gg wife, if I were single, I've known a few men and tg's that I would lavish with my affection.

I'm bi and am leaning more towards cd/tv/men the older I get. A few years ago I would never have admitted it, now I have learned to go where the river flows, wherever that may take me.

Guess I am one of the confused one's, tho' I don't consider myself as such. I love women! Obviously I do everything possible to have people believe I am one! When I am dressed, tho', and totally into the joy of being what I dream about, there is nothing more exciting than having a man recognize, accept, and enjoy what I have to offer. My experiences with men have been so satisfying and have left me feeling like the consumate woman. I have not had the priviledge of having a sexual experience with a GG, but it is certainly one of my fantasies. Nevertheless, looking into the eyes of a man that I have just given the ultimate pleasure is a reward that I will cherish forever.

After 36 years of marriage and still going strong, only my GG.

i honestly can't vote on this one, because there are choices left out. my experience in life has been almost exclusively GGs, and i love EVERYTHING about the female form. that said, i can envision being attracted to any gender. i am not enamored of the male shape and body (with one notable exception:heehee:) but if i were approached in the right way at the right time, i can certainly imagine giving it a whirl. i have been attracted to CDs and MtF transsexuals, i've seen some FtMs that looked quite good...i think i would have to pick "all of the above" except that isn't a choice in the poll as written.

i've noticed that when i am dressed up i am more open to the idea of being with a man than when i am not, but there is no way i could rule out any possibility, again depending on circumstances at the time and on the approach used.

I am "bi" regardless if I am "crossdressed" or in my male clothes.
