Hi,

last couple of day I was going outside dressed in femine. I was wearing a two inch heel. I walked a long way everyday. The first day I had I had little pain in both my toes. But today is the fourth day and I have a severe pain in my right leg. I stopped using the Heel. I do not want to go to doctor at this moment. Please advice me what to do.

Slow, just slow.
If you are not used to walk long distances in heels, it is likely that it will hurt. It's a different way of walking, muscles and tendons are strained differently, and your body has to get used to it. You can't achieve that by a marathon in heels.

Is the pain in your calves, if so, it's just your legs getting used to the high heels. 2" heels don't affect me that way, but when I wear my 3 or 4" heels for long periods, then my calves start to hurt. Ask any GG about wearing High heels. LOL

high heels look really nice darling but they are not made for walking long distances or standing all day in.

Yeah, all those hills just plain get in the way.

Yeah, all those hills just plain get in the way.Yep, especially if you happen to live in Frisco, right Steph? Wearing heels takes a lot of getting used to. I've danced in 'em and man do my dogs get sore after a couple of hours . One reason that GG's are smart enough to not wear 'em so much. But, hey we're tough guys, we can do it right?:heehee:

If the pain is in the ankle, not the calf, have you ever broke that ankle or severely sprained it?

You may need to do some ankle strengthening exercises.

But you have to give your legs/muscles a chance to rest, when exercising them or when walking in heels. Moderation and rest is the key.

The human foot and leg were not evolved to wear high heels. Wearing heels stresses the foot and leg. Sounds like you went too far too fast. When your ankle feels better you can try heels again but don't make the same mistake, wear them for short periods and short distances until your legs have adusted to them.

maybe your muscles need to get used to wearing heels

My ankles are strong from playing ice hockey all my life but I had a severe pain develope in the ball of my foot that killed me when I walked in heels or my mining boots... Went to the foot doctor and they sent me to a place where I had a custom orthonic insole made... Pains gone.. and the insurance paid for it all $280!!

A friend in San Francisco is a drag queen. She did a five mile AIDS walk in six inch platform heels. She has become used to heels to say the least.
