Panty Styles: What is your favorite and why?

For many years I wore full cut nylon briefs only. I liked the waist to upper thigh coverage and it was the favorite style of my wife whose panties I borrowed before I started my own lingerie collection. I found the full cut brief to be very attractive and sensual because there was sufficient room for an erection and penile pleasure. I also adored the feeling and appearance of wearing nylon tricot panties (usually Vanity Fair) which appeared in a rainbow of colors. There was a lot of soft material to rub your fingers up and down the front and back of the panty. Doing so gave me such an erotic sensation that I always exploded.

Over the years I came to appreciate other styles including the hipster, the bikini and the thong. The only problem with the thong was that my package frequently became exposed and the thong was not as comfortable to wear as the other kinds of panties. For playtime the crotchless bikini panty is my favorite due to its accessibility, versatility and sexy appearance.

Although I really love the crotchless panty, I must admit that the full cut brief for everyday wear in and out of the house receives my vote as the no. 1 favorite panty. My current favorite panty is made by secrets-in-lace and is sheer 100% nylon. I purchased them in both the standard brief and in the tap pant styles. They are the sexiest panties that I have ever worn.

My gf gave me bikini ones, and she wears them too - so at the moment their my favourite!

I've never tried a thong, but I don't particularly like the idea of wearing them. I probably wouldn't fit into them, for obvious reasons! :p

I voted for thongs, because they are definitely my favorite style, followed closely by bikinis. I have worn full cut panties but I don't like them because they remind me too much of the tightey-whities I wore while growing up, and under my uniform for the first 10 or so years while I was in the military. After I discovered men's bikinis and thongs, they were my preferred wear for the rest of my military career. After I retired from the military, I threw out all of my male underwear, and tried women's full cut panties. I didn't like them for the reason I gave above, and switched to women's bikinis and then thongs. I now have only women's bikinis and thongs in my underwear drawer.

I used to like full cut vanity fair type plain nylon briefs.

Now I prefer tight lycra 'boy-short' boxers or even short leg designs (like a light control short leg panty girdle). Panties like that do not cut in at all at the groin. That helps avoid the rash if I have shaved or depilated there. I 'dress up' instead of tucking and I find that style is the most flattering and comfy.

Full brief or sport high cut for me in that they hold me in more comfortably and don't make me sing soprano when I sit. Cotton over nylon in that I seem to sweat less and don't develop an off odor towards the end of the day.

I prefer nylon highcut briefs, they are the most comfortable while still providing ample coverage. I do have my share of "speciality" panties too ;)
