I went to Vegas at the age of Eighteen and I took no Male Clothes with me.

I was a Female Impersonator and for Two Years. I was a Chorus Line Dancer
at a Gay Club. Then for the next Ten Years. I worked at a Escort Service. Accompaning Men. To Dinners, Nightclubs, Parties and Casinos. In which was real wonderful. Then I met a Man and Lived with him for the next Five years.

Whats the deal with FEMALE IMPERSONATORS at gay clubs? Gay guys are suposed to be interested in other MEN------And, I suppose, Men who LOOK like MEN. How would a person who LOOKED like a WOMAN have any attraction to a gay man?---Sure its really another man, but he/she looks like a woman, and often good enough to look attractive even to hetros.

This is one of those "inponderables" that defies my analysis (so far)---As a Scientist, such things i don't understand "disturb" me and make we want to strive to find an answer.

Am I missing something here? Obviously so, yet we see it quite often. I can understand how a gay might want to CD for non-sexuality based reasons just as many hetros do. I "get" Transsexuals, who are technically "gay" with respect to biology, but thaey dont make up what appears to be a large portion of the gay community. I was initially shocked by the number of "CD's" on this, and other sites, that would sleep with other Cd's, (males), and GG's. It appears many are bisexual. Possibly, people that r located in between genders, r really attracted to folks of either, (maybe any), gender. If u r straight, like me, it takes awhile to get your mind around that concept. Otherwise, u r absolutely rite, makes no sense to me either.

Your thread came on, strong, and blunt but rather matter-of-fact and brief, with no further explanation of those missing years. i added up the years you mentioned and your life stops being mentioned to age 35, whereas now you are almost 70.
I know if I was fantasizing about writing a story to get peoples attention it might be a fiction-like lead starter like yours., aand carry the story further.

If you did indeed live that kind of life so be it; it surprises me but I will not publi ally say you are fibbing, but what you say here would put you back in the 1950's and much of that did not go on,like FI escort services and Gay clubs in Vegas.

Sounds interesting Edna. I always wondered what might have happened had I chosen to go the performing route. I kind of decided against it however after talking to a friend. He used to perform in Vegas and did Judy Garland and Liza impressions. After so many shows per day however, he got kind of burned out and eventually retired. Guess once it becomes routine, it loses some of the appeal. Good to have you here my friend and welcome.:happy:

If life had to make "sense" this and many other sites wouldn't exist---after all it doesn't make any "sense" at all that otherwise "normal"(read "straight") men want to dress completely in womens clothing, including wearing wigs and makeup, often times courting the disapproval of family, friends, and coworkers. Yet we still do it. I wouldn't worry so much whether sexual attraction of gay men to cds makes "sense". Just remember to each her own and although one girls cup of tea might not be for you her choice still deserves your respect.

I am technically "gay" :eek: well pinky i will have to ponder this !!! i guess you are technically right as a guy i love women as a trans woman i like woman so you could be right. but i was never relay a guy in the first place so .... my head hurts

Loved your post. I am also a female impersonator in GAY bars here in OK. I do shows 4 times a month and love every minute of it. Being gay i have many friends who respect me and know what it takes to be a drag queen. The hours to get ready and the cost for costumes.

I too have noticed that not all gays are totally into men. Bi would be closer than gay, I think.
One of the guys that I have gone out with is gay, or rather bi, and he loves CD's, TG's, and TS's. It's not a sexual thing, but rather someone to have fun with... Dining, dancing, camping, etc.
I don't understand why someone's personal preference in their friends has anything to do with their sexual desires. I have a few other 'gay' friends that I nor they have any other desires other than friendship, but they do respect me as I am, and I respect them for who they are as well.
People are people after all. If we were all the same, it'd be a dull world, wouldn't it.

First of all. I have very high respect. For Crossdressers. No matter if they are Gay or not. I also have very high respect. For the Wives. That allow thier men to Crossdress. That is what I call real love for thier mate.

Like I said before. "I started dressing as a girl. When I was Six." In which i wanted to do and my Parents was okay with that and even helped to keep my hair at shoulder length. Then at the age of Eight. I had my fisrt Sexual Experience. With a man and it made me feel like a real girl.

My uncle owned the Gay Club. Until the land was sold. To make way for Circus Circus. Plus he owned the Escort Service. Where Three of us clorus line dancers. Went to work [as the pay was better.] and I never went to bed with any other Crossdresser. I did live with a man. Until he started doing things. That I did not like. SoI moved out of Vegas and for a year. I got a straight job and only Crossdressed. At home or when I went shopping.

Then I replied for a job. At an Adult Escort Service and Film Studio. That I seen in an Adult Newspaper. So after working days and some of my days off.
at my straight job. I would work at the Escort Service. Where I dated all class of Men. I ever was a Porn Star. Then one weekend a month. I would go back to Vegas. Where I was booked. To perform on Stage. At some of the Casinos and I met a lot of nice Movie Star Female Impersonators.

Then three years before 911 and while I was working for a Airline Company.
A Female Classmate and Flight Attendant transferred in. [ She was also a Lisbian and very opened minded.] She had me to move in with her and we even went out together. As two females. Then one day out of the blue. I put on my male clothes and we went down and got our License. then made the arrangementto get married. {as she stated we would make a good couple.], but she was killed while working on Flight 93.

Now! I only Crossdress at home and when I go out of town. To see my friends.

PS. So I do not have to add a 3rd Thread. After 911 and going to a Ministry School. I was Ordained a Minister.

Wow, Edna! That really puts more icing on the cake and is very credible in your complete explantion now that you wrote a lengthy one. You've had some life,and as i read and now admit I misinterpreted and had doubts your story to be TV/FI Fiction tales. I believe you now that it wasn't. You should write a book dear , I'd buy it.
