Over this last year I have (for the first time)....
Spoken the words to another person "I am a crossdresser"
Bought my first wigs and makeup
Seen how I look fully made up
Chosen a femme name
Gone out in public while made up for the first time while in america
Tried on corsets while in male mode at a fredericks of hollywood store
Met another crossdresser in america
Met several more crossdressers in australia
Attended a gay community function in Brisbane
Told some friends and family members about my crossdressing
Joined an australian website and become a regular member in the chatroom
Went out in brisbane while made up
Ordered some stuff online
Had a female friend offer me some of her old shoes (which she still hasnt delivered :sad:)
Told a workmate about my dressing and the woman who is doing the laser treatment for my face
I offered some of my old girl clothes to the laser woman and she not only took them, she said she would return the favour when I move out of home

So that's about all so far this year, I hope 2008 moves along at the same rate of progress

I also found that I want to go out as Melissa (last year it had never even entered my mind) and hopefully in 2008, I can go further
Its not enough for me to dress and just sit around the house anymore so I usually dont do it

You have accomplished more in one year than I could EVER hope to do in my entire life!
With one exception; the Frederick's corset. I ordered one, which I had to return, after it ripped apart, as I attempted to cinch myself up. They r decorative only. Made to be worn be GG's with perfect figures! Real corsets will shrink your waist 4 to 6 inches. And flatten your ribs some.

A resolution for 2008-lets see what I can achieve and also what can happen that isnt planned
It will be hard to match this year for a rate of progress

To continue to improve my look, to learn about makeup and get a better wig
To be able to go out when I want or even to have the freedom to dress whenever I want
To get my ears pierced
To go out during the daytime enfemme
To meet other cd'ers round australia
To go shopping with someone (GG preferred but CD would be great too)
To maybe give some less confident girls the confidence to take some chances and realise some things arent as scary as they appear
And possibly the scariest thing of all...........to tell my parents:flyingpig: (not sure about that one)

Well done!! I think 2007 has been a good year for a lot of us out here, and largely due to the support of the members and forums. I almost feel like setting up a spreadsheet so I can do ayear by year comparison, maybe like goals and objectives. I bet Kristen would do a better job of meeting these goals than her guy counterpart,

This year 2007 has been also full of changes... I've developped my x-dressing to a point that I never thought would be achievable...

My wife has also slightly become more accepting...

So I hope that 2008 will see this trend going on...
