I've read a couple of instances of weight loss occuring in guys that hasn't resulted in the loss of fat up top, and they've gone on to retain their man boobs even though everything else has toned up nicely.

I'm carrying just a bit of extra timber my own self just at the moment, about 20lbs. Which I intend to loose of the course of the next six months or so. As a result of this, I've got a pretty nice "A" cup going, which I'd sorta like to keep. :heehee:

Does anyone know of a way to ensure this happens? I mean, if I don't do any strength training when I comes to my delts like I'm doing with the rest of my body, will that help? It's all about converting fat to muscle, right? So if I don't attempt to covert the fat in my mammaries...?

Although many people (and certainly many infomercials) continue to claim otherwise, there is no such thing as spot reduction weight loss unless you get liposuction.

You can eat more calories than you burn and gain weight, or you can burn more caloiries than you eat and lose wieight, but you can't do anything to determine which part of your body gains or loses fat.

But certainly you can determine where you gain/lose muscle. If you workout a lot you could avoid exercising your delts/triceps/traps and get smaller shoulders. And you could do a lot of dumbbell flies to build up your pecs without gaining other upper body muscle like you get with the bench press. And when you run, you can concentrate on extending your legs fully backwards with your knees almost totally locked out and push off with as much weight as possible back on your heel, and you'll be able to feel your butt muscles being worked.

You might try hormones and/or T-blockers. That'll help to keep them and may make them larger. Be sure to talk with your doctor before starting anything like this though.

I think Raquel has the rite idea. If u do a lot of crunches, as I do, it will tighten up your midsection only. Nothing else. Same with leg excercises. Be careful about your arms. I hate my masculine arms, and don't do weights, like I used to. Flabby arms look better on me in sleeveless tops! Hee hee!

That's pretty much the basis for my exercise regimen at the moment - 45 minutes on the treadmill for cardio and leg muscles, and then 100 crunches per session.

Taking hormones is extremly dangerous and not something to be entered into lightly , within a week you can be sterile !! just make sure you know what you are doing to your body!!!

Marie is talking about hormones .. not the best way to go if you want to maintain your male image

t-blockers - testosterone blocking then add estrogen and over time you turn from a male to female

No thanks. No hormones for me. And no steroids either, which I've heard can also help. I want to keep all my man bits fully functional.
