Hello ladies. I haven't been around much lately because I've been very busy. The main thing is I now consider myself truly "out". That the closet door is closed for me and I'm on the other side. While a majority of people still don't know, and will never know, I've reached what I consider the final barrier to coming out, the big one for me personally...

MY MOM AND DAD KNOW!!!

They not only know, but they've met ME, they've seen Caroline. As usual, it's a long emotional story, and I don't recommend that anyone out themselves they way I did. I always knew my parents knew I was a cross dresser, but it was strictly don't ask/ don't tell. They didn't know I was going out let alone that I even started my own cross dressing group, and that my lady friend (sort of SO) has even joined us, and not only that but was comfortable around us and loves us.

Well as it happened, my SISTERS group met a couple weeks ago, and I sent the pictures of the gathering to my lady friend, who in turn showed them to her mother. Her mother was really cool with the whole thing and even thought us girls looked great.

It was then I realized, this is stupid. My girlfriend's mom can see pictures of me and my friends but my own parents don't even know. It was on Thursday afternoon I started drinking early (like I said, I don't recommend this to anyone). I just got the point where I just decided that "this is it! I'm done".
I then went down stairs, walked right past my dad who lives bellow me, took my Caroline things out of the trunk of my car where I've been keeping them since I first went out in July, went back up stairs, got fully dressed from head to foot, had a couple more beers :o, then went down stairs to visit my mother and father.

I don't want to bore you with a play by play of all that happened between me and my parents. It was sloppy and intense, but in the end, over all, I'm glad I did it, and for the most part, in time, I think my parents will accept this part of my life. Like I said, they both already knew. My mother was very upset, as I expected, but more because I was drinking in the afternoon, and because I went out doors dressed to start taking my things out of the car. My dad was surprisingly comfortable seeing me, which is cool since he was the one I was most afraid of. He was kinda laughing at me, but it was alright by me. One of my brothers who was home, went into another room, saying he didn't want to see me like that, but I interacted with him normally (in male clothes) the next day.

The main thing is that my family now knows (except for my sister, who both my mom and I agreed was best not knowing). I still have a home. They still love me. I have a whole bunch of new freedoms now, as well as some new responsibilities. They've seen Caroline, and while they don't necessarily understand her, they know she's there and she lives with them.

Well anyways, I just wanted to share my little triumph with all my friends. This is the beginning of a new life for my. Thanks for being a part of it. :)

As you said, Caroline, others results may vary, but I am happy for you that things have worked out as well as they have. Best wishes.

Thanks Holly and Shelly. I still plan on living my day to day life in male mode, and i don't think I have to tell anyone who isn't going to see me dressed, but at least I have the freedom now to dress at home.

The ironic thing about coming out of the closet is, my clothes are now actually in my closet. LOL:heehee:

Well mademoiselle Caroline, it is no suprise you are completely out, cause honey, you just don't make a very convincing man. :heehee:
I don't know how can I say this - You would pass better as a woman than as a man.

Well, things are looking up for you, congrats.

Here's a picture of me at my most masculine BTW, is it a wonder almost no one is surprised I'm a crossdresser. LOL!

In spite of the facial hair, I think I look like a girl pretending to be a man.:D

yeah that photo does look like a woman CD'ing as a guy.

I think it is the small nose and small chin that does it so much.

And damnit lucky you just do not have much facial hair like the forest some of us have on our faces.
