Hi all,

I have very recently joined this site (I have just started dressing) and I LOVE the suport and encouragement everyone gives to each other. You are inspirational, open-minded and many of you look damn hot in your pics.

I am still trying to find which looks suit me and which don't. Have been having a few make-up disasters, but am getting much better. All I need now is another girl to fress up with and sit around with a glass of wine, talking nonsense and having fun.

I just want to say thanks to you all. You have helped me feel a part of something (have been feeling pretty isolated in loving to dress up). I hope to get to know more of you with time - if the rest of the world were as positive towards each other as you all are, the world would be a much nicer place (plus, I could walk around in a minidress with no problems).

Cheers ladies:love:

Trans-Mission (http://www.trans-mission.org/) sadly is no more, but have you found the WayOut Club (http://www.thewayoutclub.com/) yet, or the bar & restaurant at the Philbeach Hotel (http://www.philbeachhotel.co.uk/) in Earls Court?

This all presumes that you live in London, of course.. :hmmm:

I"ve been doing SERIOUS dressing for about 5 years. I mean dressing all way most times I do it. Still working out the bugs in SO MANY aspects of it, I can't list them all! Just take it at your speed and enjoy the trip!

Becky,

Your avatar looks so cute. Just going by that it looks like you've got a kind of sexy Mrs. Santa look going on in the picture. But who can say until we see the rest of it?

Welcome to the forum and, no, YOU'RE fantastic! :D

Hi Becky, As you go on, you will find that is enjoying being who you are and discovering yourself. As far as makeup, with experience, I've found that less is actually more. Your true beauty is not your appearance but who you are inside and how you express that.

Hi Becky, My top tip would be to enjoy the journey, a voyage of discovery finding the right clothes, the right make-up, and the right look, but most of all finding the real you. Have fun on the way.
Hugs Amanda
PS I’m always up for a glass of wine, PM me if you like.

Hi Becky,

Nicki B has the right idea, try some clubs. I live out of London and have found the Mayflower Club very welcoming and I expect the London girls are not very different. Don't be shy about making contact you can gain a lot of confidence by meeting others and also get a lot of face-to-face advice on dress, makeup etc.
Whatever you do Have Fun!

Your among friends, we all have been or will be at the point you are now going thru. Good makeup results are only figured out by making the disasters. The way I look at it is keep experimenting and when you get a result you like try to remember what you did and the products you used and in what order did you do them. I'm not above even keeping a few notes. When I went to a makeup counter the girl who worked on me put a sample of the color and wrote the product name down on a face they had printed on a sample sheet. Keep at it girl, you'll soon have a "standard" that you can apply in less time than you think.

Becky, In real estate the three most important things are #1. Location, #2. Location and #3. Location. Now, the three most important things associated with getting ourselves to look right is, #1. Practice, #2. Practice, and #3. Practice. There you got it in a nutshell. Good luck and keep on practicing.
