Not in London or even Europe, but if you don't get any decent responses, do a google [or whatever engine] search for - London England gay clubs.

I don't know if you guys call them "clubs". Maybe pubs, whatever...

You could also search "London crossdresser support groups" and see what comes. Just reword things if you don't like the results.

Well, for a start, you could try the WayOut Club (http://www.thewayoutclub.com/) in the City, any Saturday - they allow you to change in the backstage area?

If weekends are no good, you could always wander down to the Philbeach (http://www.wayout-publishing.com/sellers/philbeach.htm), but you'd have to change with Ann on a Monday, or hire a room (TBH, I'd recommend the Beaver Hotel just up the road, the rooms in the PB are dire).

Otherwise, change in a Travelodge or similar, and try one of the mainstream gay clubs, like Heaven? But the WO or PB would be a good place to make some friends to go with, first?

London seems fine just going mainstream, at least it was for me.

Rode the tube, buses and taxi's without hassle.

Half of the shop keepers can't speak English anyway so no bother there either.
