My wife decided we needed to go to WalMart the other morning. Of course there were a gazillion people there.
While we were waiting in line to check out, this very nice little old lady behind me tugged on my coat and told me that I looked very nice.
OK, I just smiled and whispered thanks.
Then she told me that If I would get a new wig that she could have never guessed that I was a guy.
Again I just smiled and whispered thanks.:o

Yes, of course you received a compliment. But your wig did not, so as Caroline asks, "Did you buy a new wig?"

Buy a new one? I've only had this one about 12 years, I'm just getting it broke in good.
Besides, It's not on the budget for a while.

A wig really does make a lot of difference, no matter how good or bad one looks. I would "pass" a person almost every time if their hair looked good.
krysten girl,
wigs are cheap.......................... you can get one that will change your looks for $100.00. if you want to splurge, $200.00 will get you dynomite.

Good for you! I've found my look has improved with each new wig I've purchased. Of course each new one is more expensive than the last!

It was a genuine compliment. We know that little ol ladies often say the wrong thing even when their hearts are in the right place.
The outfit isn't bad. It does have a "mature" charm about it.
