i went to my works xmas party last nite waste of time really spent money i could ill afford but i was sat at a table with guys with their wives/girlfriends and i just thought to myself soe of these women dont look much more feminine than me featurewise - its just the makeup and clothing that emphesizes their femininity - i have always know and thought i could pass in public but i know i have a largish nose its been commented on a few times but i noticed a girl who had quite a large nose herself but it didnt detract from her looking good - so the point i am trying to make i guess is that the more you look around you at women they come in all shapes and sizes and in some ways its gettin easier for us cds/trannies to pass cause women generally these days are getting taller have more masculine features (some) anyway all i could think of was as i was having my meal was i wish i was dressed ! i could look almost as good as any of you women - now i do ai to go out soon !

But the same goes for the other gender too.
I'd say for every genuinely attractive person out there, there are probably 10 or more of us who are just average looking, and also a fair number of us who are just hideous.
I guess the point is, you just have to make the best of what you have.
well just remember don't hurt anyones feelings watch what you say ..
and just for the record i don't pass and don't care i am who i am

i've been on this website for just 10 days but already i have learned its all about confidence if you want to go out dressed - whether you pass or not maybe it doesnt really matter - but i still say the better you look ie convincing the less likelyhood of you getting a hard time off people - maybe we should all have sympathy for ts's who go through the change and still dont look good they have to face the world everyday with possible negative reactions - maybe thats why some ts's dont like cd's much cause they think we dont get the problems everyday that they have to face but thats life !

At least you did get some enjoyment out of the xmas party. [we all know what a bore they can be]
But yeah, it has more to do with how one presents themself than what they look like under their clothes.

i referance to my first post .. i have found most gg are offended by this type of statement i was just hinting to respect the gg here and not hurt there feelings thats all ..
very very few guy can pull off looking like a woman something will always give us away ..
i don't know if this was a dig at me ?, but if i get the looks or comments big deal .. if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.. is my motto..
And i have many CD friends who i respect and go out shopping etc and this ts respects everyone , i may not agree but that does not mean i don't respect ones point of view

no i didnt meam all ts's dislike cds what i meant was some dont understand why we do it (want to dress as women) i would imagine for most ts's the same as women they dont understand the sexual thrills side of it - recently i asked a question on a cd help site and they basically told me there are so many different facets if thats the right word within crossdressing - some do it for sexual turn on others for a personal need - if i was genetically female would i ne able to understand that ? no i dont think i would - for women its normal for them to wear skirts, dresses, makeup ect most dont get why a guy would want to do that and as most ts's think they are women why would they think any different ! i am going to hazard a guess the ones who started out thinking they were tv to begin with are more likely to understand not the ones who have felt they were born the wrong gender right from the start - correct me if i'm wrong - opinions are like arseholes every ones got one !

It seems to me that as people age the sexes seem to look more and more alike. Perhaps that's good news for me because when I'm 92 maybe I'll pass! The more I accept who I am the less passing becomes. So, even if someone sees a guy in a dress, it will be a well-dressed guy in a dress who's having fun!
I agree, unfortunate though it is, the passing years make men look less masculine and women less feminine, so us aging CDers find things a little easier (provided we try to look our age, that is!).
Thank you Shirley , but things can be misunderstood i was not sure how to take the post thats all ...
