I'm back from my endo appt at our local Planned Parenthood clinic and it was fantastic! I got there on time but they were all backed up and it took almost two hours for me to see Dr. Hastings. She is fantastic. She respects me and listened to me intently. She checked my DIY regimen and I showed her my hormone supplies. She hadn't considered estragel and will investigate it before writing a prescription for it. Otherwise she would use injectables or a patch.
She said that it is an honor to be able to treat Transpersons. That we are a marvel of nature. We chatted about my family and my health and she has told me to increase my Spiro to lower my blood pressure more. I was treated like a real woman and with care that women show each other. In the hall, I got a hug when I left!
I have blood work scheduled and I know I have found the right place for me!
