Hi! :D
I have a question. I bought some breast forms but I need help with how to keep them from slipping all over the place! As long as I don't move an inch, it's okay. But when I move or bend to pick something up, they slide and I end up looking deformed. :(
How do you stop them from slipping?

Buy a pocket bra that women who had their breast removed due to cancer use for their breast forms. Each cup has its own little pocket that you slip the forms into so they stay in place.

HI, Susan, and if its one thing I have found about how to wear breast forms is in having the right fitting Bra. If your refering to wear your forms without a Bra then you have to glue them on, adhesive strips ect., going braless demands they be glued on, and then they feel very natural. But if your wearing a Bra and they move all around then you either have a too loose fitting Bra or you have very cheap forms. Even wearing a Bra you can still glue your forms on to help them ride nice. Cheap forms are either made from a non silicone outer shell or empty shells and can move quite a bit, better forms are concave in the back and made with a good silicone outer and conform to your body better and stay put, I regularly wear my 40GG forms with a perfect fitting bra and no glue and dance and bounce and even keep them on during sex and have no problem with them shifting. Hope I have been of some help, just keep trying. . Love ya, Monica.

What type of glue or adesive should I use?
I do use a bra because I have no way to keep them in place if I don't.
I'd rather go without the bra if I can.
Edit:
The boobs are pretty cheap. I bought them on Ebay for like 45 dollars....... from China.
(There's probably lead in them too. jk ) But it is what I have for now so I need to make them work until I can get better ones.
Where, and what kind of breast should I get that would be better?

Your problem is probably with your bra, not the forms, unless the forms are lightweight foam or polyester. Forms work best in a full coverage, underwire bra. The bra band should be snug but not tight. The shoulder straps should be adjusted so that the band is parallel to the ground, while standing upright, without digging into your shoulders. The underwires should be snug against your breastbone in the center, and at the sides. The cups should fully cover the forms, without much cup material left over to touch skin. After inserting the forms in your bra, it is not uncommon for them to move slightly as you move around for a few minutes, but they should stabilize and remain in place from that point on, even when active. Don't expect everything to stay in place through strenuous exercise, they don't for well endowed gg's. The really sexy, fun to wear bras can work if you keep the activity down and don't jump around, or if you use the proper adhesive or breast form tapes. Large forms don't stay in place if only adhered to the skin and you are active, but the feeling is fantastic. I wear Transforms and use Transforms tape to attach them if going braless, or wearing a bra that only partially covers the forms. With most of my bras no tape is needed.

I've never needed any kind of adhesive, and all I have is a couple sets of cheap eBay breastforms. You just need a good bra that fits. It can be hard to find a full-coverage bra that is still sexy, but they are out there (I'm always plugging the Playtex Silken Luxury 4650 underwire, which they have at JC Penny). Even if I'm wearing a demi bra, though, I don't have too much of a problem. If I was going to jump around a lot I'd want a nice kinda tight cami with some spandex in it to keep things in place, though.

I have been using a "sports bra" that has no cups. That was a bad idea, nothing stayed in place.
I have another bra that does have cups and does hold things ing place but I think it is too small. It hurts and digs like hell.
Wearing a bra and using forms are new to me. For the last couple years I have been going "Flat chested." So with that, I am just trying to figure this out!

If you don't want to use "Glue or Sticky tabs"
(This is going to sound wierd but)
Get some of the NEW clear Duct Tape,,,,now apply the tape to your chest where the forms are going to sit,
Let the tape heat up body heat or hair dryer can work,,
The glue (clear) becomes soft and adhears to your body
(shaved chest helps)..
Now slowly remove the Clear Dusct tape, put your bra on and insert Silicone Forms,
The left over glue (not mutch) will hold the forms in place
There is NOT enough holding pawer to go braless.
Clean forms with Goo Gone & your chest also if you so desire.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't see anything that would indicate what type of forms you have, silicon, foam homemade etc etc. I have three sets of forms, all silicon with a concave back that DO NOT move once in my bra. I also wear a underwire bra this helps keep the forms in place. E-mail me if you need more assistance.

Depends on what you are trying to do really. Like Racquel said, a good fitting bra is best if you don't want them to move. If they are ponderous (as many are) and weigh a "ton", it could be a problem. The big ones are okay for looks but not very functional. I also use inexpensive silicone ones because I'm basically just looking for the appearance of having breasts but the ones I use are pretty forgiving in that they are lightweight and durable and if I wear a bra that is ever so slightly loose, I get the effect of the "bounce" when I dance which gives them the appearance of being more "natural". As I said though, it depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Hi Susan, You didn't say where you bought your forms but I know that some are made with a self adhesive back so they will stay put. You also didn't mention if they're silicone forms or the less expensive foam and fabric forms. If they are the foam type, they can br safety pinned inside your bra cups. If they're slilcone or latex you will need a double back tape or a surgical adhesive to keep them firmly in place.
I bought mine from the breastform store and the tape was included in the purchase price with the forms. I also went on line and bought two types of surgical adhesive. Both adhesives and the tape hold very well and can be removed with rubbing alcohol. the tapes can also be reactivated with alcohol. One caution though, make sure you shave your chest hair before using tapes or adhesives or else removal of the forms can cause a lot of ouchies.

One of the ways I have dealt with the problem is to modify some of my bras.
First buy a bra with a double layer of material in the cups. Then make an incision near the top seam of the cup, (from the inside of where the strap attaches, toward the center of the bra), large enough to insert a compressed breast form, but not large enough for the form to fall out. Then insert your forms.
Additional advantages of modifying the double layer bra, is that, if you get one with a thin, see through material, there is a very realistic presentatiion of a braless breast peeking through your blouses. And there is practically no "wandering" of the BF out of the bra. And, in hot weather, you don't get that clammy sensation of the silicon sticking to your skin

Like I said before, cheap forms and using a sports bra are your problem, if you are going to keep the cheapies then use some sort of glue, go to "TheBreastFormStore.com" and you can get just about anything you need, from glue to adhesive patches, dont use any kind of regular tape or glue, made with different solvents, they might cause a rash, and as far as your sports bra goes, dump it, and get yourself a nice pretty and sexy of course underwire bra, it , by itself, will make a world of difference, I love bra shopping and can use any reason to buy another one, good luck, Love all the girls here, Monica.

Thanks for your replies and thoughts.
I figured it was a combination of the sports bra and cheap forms. But I thought perhaps there was something that could be done to help.
I guess I need to pony up and get better bras and forms. :( I'll have to do wait several months to shop becasue I don't have any money right now.

Susan,
My forms give me a C/D size in a 36C undersire bra. Unless your forms are the foam or cloth type, a good fitting bra will solve your problem. I got some cheap full coverage bras at Sears for about $9.00 each. They work just fine. Good luck.

I made small nipple suction cups out of silicone baby bottle nipples. They pretty much lock my forms in place. Except for my huge #13's. They go on quick and easy, with none of the hassles of gluing or tape. Each of which damage my thin skin. Cost me $1 for 2.
Down side to them; u can only leave the suction devices on for about 2 hours, or risk skin damage also!
If anyone is interested in details, message me!

I can't find the exact ones like I bought on Ebay last summer. But these are very close. The only thing is these have an indent on the backside, while the ones I bought are basicly flat.

Iv'e had such great success gluing on forms with Hollisters, I would not consider anything else. This does not mean other methods won't work. I can't say for sure how these would hold up to gluing. They look like it might be ok. If you are ready to replace them anyway, you might want to try glue first. How is the self adhesive back surface? I don't know how glue will affect that. Anyone else have experience with self adhesive forms? If they were mine I'd try glue - even at risk of damaging them - especially if O was already cisidering replacing them. What do you have to loose?

Bra is everthing, when it comes to keeping the forms in place.
