This I am sorry I screwed this all up, anyway I wanted to do a poll to find out how many Girls are enfemme at their age or if they are older or younger than they really are. I mean Girls (Ladies) can look years younger by using makeup and different techniques. Myself I am almost 52 yet My Female side is in my 30 something. How about you. How is your Female side, not going by when you started dressing but by the way you like to dress.

I originally thought my femme self was a couple of years older, but since the grey hair is coming in faster (where there is hair) my femme self is looking much younger.

People usually assume I'm younger than I am... :) :hmmm:

Amy - Did you go up to Thread Tools (at the top of the page) to add your poll? As the thread starter, you should have the additional option 'Add A Poll To This Thread' on the drop down list.. :strugglin

I generally think of "Caroline" as being 4-6 years younger than "Pete" (which is thirty-five) since the time of my life when I first discovered I liked girls clothes and generally being a girl was when I was between 4-6.

With that said, Caroline dresses far more conservatively (i.e. older) than Pete ever does.

Pete would never wear a suit or any sort of tie beyond work. Caroline loves it!

Pete's all tee-shirts, jeans, denim jackets. The dressiest he gets is a Hawaiian shirt or two.

Caroline loves skirts, and would never dream of wearing pants. She loves pins, bows, berets, sweaters, not exactly young things, but things Pete would never be caught dead in. LOL

This probably didn't answer any question, but it was fun for me to answer.

Robert is 60, and has been dressing for about 8 years. But Sherry is only 2 years old! She usually wears outfits I imagine 20 to 40 year old GG's to be wearing. However, I also like Sherry in opera and formal cocktail gowns. Late spring will see her in prom dresses! At Halloween, the tutu's and other kid's dance club outfits come out! Whatever I imagine, she becomes!

I guess that means Sherry dresses ages 12 to 50! Is CDing fun or what?

This does seem to be a very good question and I am so glad that everyone is being honest, well most are, but then again I am not to say whether you are or not. Anyway this is a fun thread. There are so many wonderful real people here, by that I mean here we can be who we really are without being condemed for it. We all learn so much from each other and to find out that we are not the only ones going through what we are going through, Priceless!!!

I hit the wrong thing and posted before I was done doing anything, and all I could do after that was to edit what I already had done.

Both Samantha and her male counterpart are the same age (44). I normally dress my age. I like the professional look. Of course, there are times when I get the mini skirts out and have a little fun. Who says a mid 40's woman can't wear a mini skirt and look good?

My fem side and I were born on the same day.

Like this Sarah, my fem side and I are the same age. I was born a male. But I think all humans have a little of both sexes in them. I just think my female streak is stronger than normal!

As for the age I dress, as a senior/keener citizen I can't be a 30 year old lady. Although I don't pass as any age, I do wear female clothing (in public!) suitable for a lady in her 50's or 60's.

Sissy/Stephanie

Outwardly a girl, but under the silk and lace there is a man.

i'm nearly 40 but am told even in male mode i dont look it - lost most of my hair and very grey but luckily have good skin very soft and still fairly oily ie not many lines - so with a wig and make up i can easily take 10 years off my age say late 20s - but then again i dress young anyway in male or female mode i defy age ! to hell with it - young women wear the best clothes in my opinion ! but i'm sure there are people on here that would dissagree ! enjoy dressing whatever your age and style is what i would say

Jocelyn Quivers
01-27-2008, 01:42 AM
Both femme and drab sides are in there early 30's. My femme side does get kind of confused about wearing age appropriate attire. Such as wearing skirts way to short for a woman in her early 30's. Then by doing fashion no no's done by older woman such as wearing pantyhose (at least in this popular bare legged day and age), and pantyhose with open toe sandals, and jean skirts.

I would like to say that REXY is at least ten years younger then him. 45 vs. 55:happy:

I am 45, and try to dress my age, with sometimes an outfit for someone a little bit younger. I like the classic look. Don't really have a male side, eventhough I haven't transitioned yet, as my male side doesn't really exist, he was just a construct I used to hide my real self from others and, originally, from myself.

The drab side is 58, but the fabulous side is ageless.

Contrary to most, I've been trying to look like a middle-class middle-aged lady in her 40s since I was 13 ! Largely succeeded in that mission I think.
Now he is 38.

And -- thank goodness -- she's getting stronger and he's getting weaker.

She's now 64.

As I type, I'm wearing a red top, a short red denim skirt, matching lipstick, white opaque panythose, ballerina flats, and a pair of small loop ear rings. So nice...

both of my sides are meta-physically young teens. :) but I tend to dress late teens early twenties. The "younger" clothes just won't fit gods-damnit.

I like to dress in the 25 to 35 year range when I can get away with it, too.

But the mannerisms, hand gestures, body language...thats way
beyond my ability. I guess a well dresssed reserved women
in her 40s is what I really should be aiming for.

In reality I am 60, and my female persona looks to be in her later 40 or early 50's.

Well, I used to buy club kid stuff 'cos it was sexy as hell, but after some good advice I decided to act my age. I'm still sexy though, but as a COUGAR not a self-deluded "woman of a certain age", in an inappropriate micro-mini. It's all about the attitude, honey.
