Hair what to do ?

What to do with my own hair . i am going to the salon this week and i am going to get my hair sorted the question is do i keep it the same or change it !! if so what colour and keep it medium or long ? . should i keep it the same blond or change it to the Irish red , my auburn , or a fun funky blue or purple :eek: so your advice is appreciated thank you and there will be pictures of the day at the salon

I dunno... It kinda looks like platinum blond would work better with your face than it would with most people. Maybe I just think the smile looks really nice and it looks good being able to see more of your face...

Your current style and colour look good on you, but:-

If you try something new you may evolve something you like as much or better.
Perhaps try some red and some blond streaks and let it dry curly and up ... Not hard to go back from that, but a new look may just suit some of you other clothes .. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Have a look at some pictures with your hairdresser and sound her out if she is the adventurous type.

I would pick the color that you feel the most comfortable with and go with it. If you go with a color completely different than your own and have grow-out every 6 weeks will that deter you from the different color? Sometimes I see girls that go back to a more natural color just to reduce maintenance. Then on others I see them every three weeks for a re-touch!

As for the style and length, I see the most dramatic changes in girls that I cut bobs or stacked or asymetrical bobs or lightly razor cut as the most feminine. When I cut a girl's hair and she has had long hair most of her life, and goes pretty short, I see a really big uplift in the personality and a more active smile.

Get some advice from your stylist, they usually have more opinions than you want but they can see more feminine looking styles. I have cut gorgeous feminine cuts on guys with long hair to appease their feminine side and most walk taller and smile like idiots about how cute they are. I love it, of course I am dressed when I cut their hair so they have no qualms about telling me what they want.

Doesn't really matter what style you chose, with your smile anything including a brown paper bag on your head would look good. You are beautiful and you show it.

MJ auburn is the colour most suiting your skin tone....the blonde is a little too blonde and makes you look older in my opinion...stick with auburn

thank you i see two problems with my own hair 1 it's very very Grey if i go to auburn I'll have a skunk line every month i can dye it myself i guess and the big problem is my high forehead i look like i Klingon chick :eek: . how to deal with that .. thats the problem . there is always option 3 buzz it off and go back to wigs :o

I always think that unless you can commit to a very feminine cut that wigs are the way to go. Once you've done all your make up and you drop it on, everything just falls into place

Hey there MJ,

So I also voted for Auburn and med. Purple would be cool if you had a wig that you could take off after you got tired of it, blond may wash you out too much and while I love Irish red you may attract too much attention! ;)

So your hair stylist should be able to frame your face and get rid of the forehead, I have seen plenty of GG's with high foreheads as well so it is just a matter of getting the cut right.

your right i like dark hair i would love to go black and purple high lights or is that low lites but mother is good with a frying pan and not afraid to use it :p.
she is also very supportive and wise ,she said she likes my blond hair ..SO ..
