On the subject of looking nice and what that means, I feel that context is very important.
I understand that for some, saying "you look nice" to a CD means rating how close they are to passing.
Personally, I find, when interacting with other *t girls, that I and they are speaking in context; i.e., it being understood that we are not GGs, that someone looks pretty, really put together, or sexy.
In context, there is no blurring of truth, hiding, or dishonesty.
