The number 1 reason that I crossdress and I have mentioned in other threads is that I am a recovering porn addict and recovering alcoholic (15 years without a drop). When I crossdress those desires cease to exist for me. Maybe I am only sidelining the issue, but I am 15 years dry and 2 years without porn, works for me.

The other reason is that it is a way for me to be able to relax as a garbage truck mechanic I am 100% guy, when I am at home alone I am able to release from all of that and experience my life in a completely different realm with a completely different mental attitude. Hope that makes sense.

The thing that I love the most about my dressing is that it makes me a complete person not the depressed, apparently angry person that I was before I could really bring it out to the level that it is now. I really enjoy the sensation and the variety of my clothing (and I've collected LOTS of it, closets and closets full). Even if the occasion dictates a tough fabric like denim for outside work I choose a women's sized garment because of the more comfortable fit, particularly trousers. Also, because many garments are virtually "ambiguous", I often wear shirts/blouses that have their buttons on the left side and slacks that lack deep pockets or rear pockets. And, if anyone should notice, and comment, well then, I've received notice - how nice.

I knew that today, Sunday, I was going to have an almost uninterupted day and would be able to be dressed until the early evening. Last night I tucked the boys away and taped myself flat, put on a pair of coral pink satin panties and a long black slip and retired to bed feeling excited about the prospect for the following day.

I awoke early (just like a kid at Christmas) thinking about what I was going to do and what I was going to wear. I lit candles in the bathroom, had a leisurly soak then shaved my body from neck to toe. (Thanks for the shaving tips!).

I popped the boys away again and slipped on a pair of pink, satin , hipster thongs, pink gypsy skirt and a black spaghetti top. I spent ages painting my toenails and giving my nails a manicure. The whole process took all morning. Can you think of a better way to spend your Sunday ?

Tomorrow I am hoping to get a new pair of shoes in the post and my treat for tomorrow will be to put on a new pair if cream stockings to go with the shoes. So you see, for me , it is the whole package of anticipation, selection, preparation and the finally admiring the finished product.

Interestingly I do the same. SO thinks it is harder to put lipstick on someone else than they do it themselves. So Paula knows not a lot about blending eyeshadow and so on but she does her own lipstick...

I would have to say wearing my thong, garter belt, mini skirts,breast forms, with a water bra, wig etc. It just helps me get away from the stress of a regular day. My wife likes it when I get all dressed up to go to bed.She always plays the male when we play to show she supports me.I just wish that she wouldnt tie me up and bring her friends over to get in on the action.

I want to feel different, I want to feel what I perceive as feminine. Feeling, what for me is feminine, changes how I think.

Sometimes when I dress I feel like I want to be more soft and gentle, I feel less stressed, and it makes me feel calm and relaxed. Other times I feel happy and excited and I smile a lot when dressed and I get a kind of a mild buzz about it all. I don't know what it is, but feeling feminine, is very important to me. I also happen to love wearing cute girl's clothes! :)

There is nothing wrong with being happy. There is nothing wrong if it's you yourself that makes you happy, and there is nothing wrong if wearing feminine clothes is what it sometimes takes to feel nice. :)

I've never been happier in my life since I accepted myself as a crossdresser/transgendered person and explored it.

I really enjoy the feeling of silk and nylon on my body and also I find that having a wife who knows whilst everyone else is unsuspecting is a turn-on. I underdress with consent and the reassurance I get from my wife is comforting. It turns her on too!!!!

Skirts were my first love. I have worn them for 40 years. Now I wear make up and wigs. I just the whole experience of cross dressing. Can't describe why or how, but I will never wear pants. :P

I always now wait until I am fully dressed to put on my lipstick. Once I got all my makeup done inclulding the lipstick and then pur on a pull over blouse and started to reach behind my neck to button it when I notice a Red smear on the front of the blouse where it had touched my lips. Needless to say to say I had to find another blouse to wear. Now lipstick is the last thing I put on.
