There seems to me an infinite number of post regarding hormones, both estrogen and T blockers. Right now I am interested in knowing what options there are to block or cease testosterone? Are all blockers only available through doctor after going through therapy? Do any herbs work, or is there a natural solution? What cost and requirements are there with regard to surgery? Seems that moving forward with an Orchi is the best solution, but I really do/would like to hear you girls opinion that have taken the step to stop testosterone production or blocking. Thanks, and I know this all has been said on other post, so sorry if you are tired of the same old post. It really does mean so much to me. Some how I just have to find a way.

Josephine, you should realize that T-blocking has a number of impacts, depending on your approach. Some are reversible, some are less so. If you are serious about these types of changes, I would highly suggest consulting with both a gender counselor and a doctor. These are not toys and the actions are not taken lightly. Here is my understanding...
T-blocking can be done with prescription drugs or herbals. Every body, both male and female, has both T and E. Depending on the birth gender (and age), there are different balances of each. In a genetic male, blocking the T should allow the E to dominate. Drugs or herbs can be taken to help the body's E receptors to see/use the E. Stuff taken orally, either herbs or drugs, has to pass through the liver. You can also take the drugs via patches or injections which bypass the liver and get directly to the blood-system. The liver is quite and important organ and overwhelming it's work can have dire (I mean dire) consquences.
Having said all that, I believe herbals have less of an adverse impact on the body, including the liver: they are also less potent than drugs. This is not to say you can't acheive the same end, especially if you are just T-blocking. But, as they say, each body is different (your mileage could vary).
That's a quick overview. I'm sure there are plenty of others with thoughts on this. And the drug vs herbal schools are sometimes very vocal. There are lots of websites, some giving information I consider to be constructive, some I consider to be less instructive.
Regardless, if you want to go down this road, I would highly recommend you do lots of research and check with the professionals.
Good luck!
