Reunions

Hi girls,
I was just wondering if any of you have ever gone to , or wished you could have gone to, a high school or college reunion en-femme?
I haven't, but with the prospect of one coming up soon, I'd love to hear your opinions and stories!

Last year, I went to my 20yr highschool reunion, but not dressed.
However, one of my former classmates is a lesbian and we live in the same city. A few months after, I was dressed and out with a fellow T-girl friend at a local club. I just happened to see her there and so I called her name, but the music was too loud.
I then got up, went up to her, and tapped her on the shoulder and said "Do I know you?"
She looked surprised when she first looked at me, as if to say, who is this girl?
Then, after a few seconds, here eyes got big and then she immediately recognized who I was. :)
We hugged and then she asked why I didn't say anything at our reunion.
I said that I wanted to, but there was too much going on and that I was having fun reconnecting with old friends so I figured we'd run into each other at some point.
Anyway, she was really glad to see me and said that she wouldn't say anything.

Two friends of Kieron & I went to their old UK (public) school reunion last year - one is fulltime, in her 20s, the other late 30s and almost completely f/t.

Neither of them were recognised, in fact the older was asked if her son was at the school.. :hmmm:

Have been to my last two reunions as Molly.....lots of girls knew of my issues and was not a problem....some of the guys though....just jerks-the first one was the icebreaker and no problems with the second time around....the ones who were asholes then are still assholes and my best friends are still the greatest....

I have often thought, dreamt, fantasized about this, though I doubt it would happen at an actual reunion though since my school was in Germany and our "reunions" are usually with all of the folks that were part of DoDDS education system.

i have worn my pantyhose to my reunions,, found out on my 20th one of my classmates is gay,,in 2011 it will be 30 yrs :eek:

I have thought about this many times for my last two reunions, but didn't due to the fact that my wife at the time did not know. But I have a 40 reunion coming up in four years so who knows I just might show up a Dawn Marie.

Last year I went to my 50th High School Reunion. At the reception, the first night, no one figured out who I was. The next day, I wore my male name tag. Several female class mates talked with me and were very supportive. Only one male spoke with me about my being a transwoman and he was totally understanding. It was a very good experience.

I don't know or care if my (quite posh) school has reunions.
"Happiest days of your life". I only had the one "Happiest day" at secondary school, the day I left. I hated the place, I didn't fit in at all, it was nothing to do with my CDing either.

my 30 year reunion is next year, I have not decided to go as Vivian yet, I am thinking about going a Vivian, I might if I have transitioned to living full time by then.
