Hey serious question to everybody out there.

I love the turn-on that crossdressing used to give me, but while it's somewhat there now, it's very muted or less than in my 20s...again I'm now 33.

I think I'm add a point where I need to be legitimately unmistakeable as a female (passable)........

Did anybody else go through this? Having the strong urge to crossdress but being disappointed when you were because it almost felt like wearing "regular clothing", or no longer as big of a deal as it used to be? Any tips to restore the magic I once felt when I crossdressed?

Most of the time when I am dressed, it just feels normal to me. When I was younger it was a sexual turn on for me, but as I have grown older, I have found that the sexual turn on has lessen, but the pleasure I get being dressed, out and about, is growing each day. I now get a bigger thrill, knowing I am fully dressed as a woman and going out shopping and the like, having other people respect my presentation, being called "Mam" or "Miss", and such. Knowing once again, I was treated as any other GG and loving it.
It is a different magic that when I was younger, but still magic.

I'm 60. So, I may have a better perspective on life than u. At least, on mine. Life is NOT static. We r constantly changing as we age. That your CDing is changing is probably a natural condition.
As u repeat things over and over, the thrill u first got from them, is bound to cool. If not, we would all sit in front of the TV eating french fries and ice cream our whole lives! This is why people change jobs, locations, partners, and their minds quite often.

It's also why sex and fetishes r becoming so popular. The thrill of sex dims after u have done the same thing over and over, year after year. However, fetishes add new experiences and energy to people's sex lives. The sexual turn on, is MOSTLY in your mind, after all.

I can tell u, Sherry has done WONDERS for mine! Maybe it's time u follow the direction your mind wishes u to go.

I know I’m probably “a day late a post short” but, for what it’s worth, I’ll add my little bit of experience.
Yeah, there used to be somewhat of a “turn on” for me , way back when… Now, however it seems more like simple “everyday clothes” After my morning shower, put on stockings, bra and undies. During the week it’s jeans, and on weekends it’s slacks, but in either case the trousers are ladies cut, style and fit. Light weight turtle neck sweater overlaid with a shirt from Lane Bryant. Light coat of lippy and occasionally a bit of mascara.
This has become my “normal” way of dressing. At night it’s either a pair of PJ s or a night gown.
Yeah, some of the original “magic” has left, but the FREEDOM to be able to wear what I want, when I want is more than enough for me at this time. Every few months I’ll go “all out” complete with wig, full makeup, forms, and skirt. These times are quite special to me, and help to restore some of the “zest” to cross dressing.
