Enfemme Last evening

Last evening I went out at 7 pm to run errands and some shopping. I was wearing a knee length dark blue skirt, and white blouse and a jacket. My 1st stop was the verizon store to update my phone, no one seemed to notice, the place was busy. 2nd stop was savers thrift store, was there well over an hr. the place was packed things went well for about an hr, I had an arm full of dresses, I was looking at blouses, about 20 feet away lady was looking at blouses also, she had 2 children with her, she put a blouse on over her clothes and was showing her daughter, then she said to me, mam how does this look on me, when I looked up at her to say she looked nice in it, she imediately read me, before I could utter a word, I could see the shock on her face, I said as softly as possible it looked great on her, she said to her daughter lets get out of here, she grabbed her cart and left left as fast as possible. a few seconds later I saw her daughter (about 12 yrs old) coming back toward me to take another look, then I heard her mother yell at her to get back to the front of the store. I continued looking at the blouses expecting a manager to come back to ask me to leave, but nothing happened, thank goodness. A few minutes later another lady came over to look at some blouses right next to me, she started talking to me, asked how I was doing, showed me some of her clothes that she found, I talked to her also and showed her my arm load of clothes that I had, that woman was really nice to me and told me what colors looked good on me, I am pretty sure she knew I was a crossdresseer. she then went on to another area of the store, then another lady came over by me looking at skirts where I was looking at skirts, we also talked, and asked each others opinions about the different skirts that we were looking at, that lady like the 2nd lady I encountered treated me as if I was another lady, that made me feel good about myself being there. when I went to the check out the 2 ladies showed up in line behind me plus there were three other ladies there, pretty quick we were all involved in conversation while we were waiting to check out, everything went smoothly, and the ladies there acted as if I was one of them, :D.
after I left the store I went to a restaurant and went inside and waited to be seated, a waitress came over to me and took me over to a table to be seated, so far everythng went well, I made my order, my food came fairly quickly, there were peaple all around me, but no one even noticed me, when I was done I paid for my dinner, and I was treated very well. All in all I had a good evening, and I believe if we all get out and act well and dress descent, and so on society for the most part will accept us for who we are, once in a while someone will not be nice, but we must go on and not let these peaple get to us. I was in the Salt Lake area last night when Vivian went out.:love:

Ladies,
I have been dressing for years. have everywhere done most everything dressed as a woman! As loong as I acted like any other woman my age and dressed my age. I was treated like anyother woman by anyother person man or woman or child. Yes I ahve been read! :eek: When I was frist starting out many years ago. And yes sometime I have been read even now! But for the most part I have No trouble go in public dressed!

Getting the confidence to move about dressed en femme is probably the biggest hurdle for most crossdressers. Once you realize that the sky is not going to fall you can start to really enjoy yourself!
