I admit I am addicted to designer clothing. I just have a hard time going to Saks or Neimans to shop. Once I asked a salesgirl to pull a pair of size chanel pink heels in a size 10. She went into the back room and never came back. And forget about trying clothing on at either of those stores unless you want every salesgirls eyes and customer eyes on you. Anyhow, on Saturday I found a amazing store in the Los Angeles area. A store called Rodeo Drive Resale on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. They sell both new and used designer clothing and shoes. Prices are about 50-70% off retail and they carry deigners like Gucci, ST John, Versace an Chanel. The staff was really nice and helpfull. Either they did not know I was a man or they simply didnt care. I received great service and though I spent $1200.00, I got about $7000 worth of clothing and shoes. My friend Marcia turned me onto this store. It turns ot they get their clothes from hollywood celebrities and television shows. You can also call the store at 818-783-2330 and schedule to shop an hour before the store opens in private as long as you spend a minumum amount of $300. Wel worth it ladies! Also, they have a great selection of size 9-11 designer shoes by Prada, Gucci, etc. If you dont live in the area, you can go to their site www.rodeodriveresale.com The salesgirl told me that they will be listing more "larger" size shoes on the site next week so I just signed up for their email alert list which is on the website. Can anyone else recomend great stores or websites? Im a shop-aholic.

Girlfriend, thanks for the tip. I just bought this outfit. It's the prefect color for me. I have an olive skin tone. Can't wait until I get it. I have the perfect shoes for it!

When I lived in Studio City, I frequented a store similar to the one you are talking about... but I was buying men's wear, then! I really got used to wearing US$150 shirts that I bought for $20. The cool thing is that many times the "star's" name was still attached to the item. Tony Franciosa and I wore the same size... evidently! :D

I'm going to check this store out... sounds wonderful!!!
