I went out tonight as Candace. I went by the gas station, atm and post office. I was a nervous wreck, as I know I can't pass close up or probably even far away. I didn't have any problems, though.

I hope I can do it again sometime.

Congrats, you finally jumped the hurdle, now that you have gone out enfemme you will want to do it again, and every time you go out the easier it will get, once in a while you will have a setback, but you will overcome those setbacks, and you will get to the point that those setbacks do not matter anymore. Thanks for sharing you experience with us.

and had no problem with going out. I chose to sublimate this part of me for family reasons for many years, but recently have again "let it all hang out" (figuratively speaking).

I've gone to the mailbox, to the neighbors, sat outside in the backyard, gone for drives.

It isn't easy, but it seems necessary.

peace.

Congrads........I kinda know what you mean. I am sure, I don't pass all the time, but so far no one has made a fuss about it. As long as they treat me with respect and the gender I am presenting, even if they know, I am happy.
As others have said, you will find each outing to be more fun and your stress level will drop too. Just remember, act like you do this everyday and smile at people when they look at you.
