Hello there everyone! Anybody like to comment on long pleated skirts and slips!

Hi. I am Faye from England (UK). I have always been very fond of dressing up in long pleated skirts, and always would have a slip on (underskirt) on underneath. It is the most gorgeous feeling against your legs. Silk slips are the best, and generally black or white with a little lace.

Would love to hear anybody elses comments on this subject.

You are so right. I love skirts knee length or mid-calf. I wear full slips under them with a sheer blouse. I used to think I had it going only to then discover garters and hose. I'm hooked!
I love full slips so much that I also use them for night gowns. I like the lace bodice and soft cups for those little puppies that fall so nicely into them.
Keep up the skirts but try the hose if you like the feel of a silky swish now and then.

Long skirts aren't really my forte' but I do love wearing slips underneath my skirts and dresses. Yummy! :p

When I was young I imagine a lady wasn't properly dressed without a girdle and a slip! I love both equally! :rolleyes:

Erm so now I have to think of something to say about slips. I never had older sisters (well...ANY really) so slips weren't just sort of lying around. Never thought about them at all.

I really love and always have the long ankle length gypsy skirts that are really in now with the little ethnicy tops. You can get the skirts in velvet and cotton etc and they use gorgeous deep reds and night blacks or midnight blues, the skirts make your hips and your walk look utterley femimine and the guys drooling. One tip though,take shortish steps, as when your walking ie up steps or up hill its possible to step on your skirt and pull it down (Oops!!!) yes Ive been there n done that(daft cow).
But i really love the gypsy bojo look with little plimsoles, or slouch boots, or doctor martins. Long wild hair is the order of the day, black eyeliner, a little goth, it'll drive em wild. and you can use layers and accessories to mix n match, very feminine and very convincing, try it you'll love it!

I am wearing a 34" long blue and green floral semi pleated cotton skirt fully lined with a 29" cream half slip with laces at the bottom, ivory shiny stockings with lace tops, white suspender belt with lace and ivory lacy french knickers. Shoes are patent black low heels with ferragamo bows, ivory blouse with frilly collar, medium dark brown bob with a green floral headband, pearl necklace et voila !
Wonderful to wear conservative look fashions , very femme, very sub and very beautiful !!
Now all I need is to be able to apply make- up and I'll finally be able to go out into the world.

Hello again and thank you for welcoming me into the forum. I am glad that I have created a great topic for discussion for all to contribute.

Anybody have any thoughts on wearing a pleated skirted (long skirt of course) suit with a slip and blouse with the blouse collar open knecked coming over the collar of the jacket. I will have to post a picture of some discription. My ideal underwear would be sheer white panties and black hold-ups with a silk white underskirt with a little lace. Black high heel shoes would be a nice touch too, I think.

Keep those thoughts coming.... as the elegant look is so devine :)
